Easy, FUN and Satisfying!
When I first opened the box I was worried there would be a lot to put together or difficult directions. I was pleasantly surprised that there was nothing to put together, and the directions were super easy! Just put the balloon in and pump it up. I did lose suction for some reason, maybe it wasn't tight enough in there, so the water did overflow, but I just pumped it back up and it was fine. The squishy itself is super satisfying, the balloon doesn't feel like it will burst easily and my daughter absolutely loves it! Kudos to Doctor Squish! The only thing I would change is the little plastic clasps that keeps the squishy closed, please give those to us already open. They are difficult to pry open.

Highly disappointing product.
I am highly disappointed in this item. My granddaughter is obsessed with Dr. Squish and I bought her this for her 6th birthday. We have only done 4 squishies together and only 3 were keepable. My complaints are as follows: the neck of one of the balloons was defective (too thin?) and got a hole immediately after putting it on the neck of the maker and would not fill with air, it went in the trash. The machine seal is not tight enough on ours so the balloon deflates mid-assembly - resulting in our balloon overflowing and causing a huge mess. One of our finished squishies leaks, I believe from a tiny dimple that all the balloons have (used in production?). Also, to me, the balloon capacity is way too large. In other words, the small squishy is not small at all and the large size is entirely too big. That's just my opinion but I can't see how playing with something that should be fun and satisfying should cause such concern and anxiety over the mess it can cause in the long run. I am truly disheartened to leave this review!!

Kids need lots of help
It’s a great product, however, adults have to most of the work. Kids can just add water and sprinkles. Still fun working together with the kids.

Overall it is fun!
Hey there! After checking out some other reviews, I’ve got a few pointers to share that could really up your squishy-making game:1. Getting the Suction Right: If you’re struggling to get that squishy to puff up, chances are the clear dome isn’t screwed in all the way to the base. Look for a half-oval mark at the dome’s base and line it up with the lock icon on the base. Get this right, and you’ll create the perfect vacuum for squishy expansion when you pump.2. Balloon Placement Matters: When you’re stretching the balloon over the dome, try to get it smack dab in the center. If it’s off to the side, you’ll end up with a wonky, crooked squishy – you’ll know what I mean when you see it.3. The Clip vs. Knotting: The clip’s okay for a quick seal, but I wouldn’t rely on it for serious playtime. I started using the clip but ended up knotting the balloon for a tighter seal. It means you can’t reuse the balloons, but it’s way more secure. Plus, I noticed the clip tended to shift around a lot, which wasn’t great.4. Don’t Go Overboard with Pumping or Filling: Easy does it with the pumping and filling. If you go too hard, the balloon gets weak and it’s a pain to close. Try doing a bit less than what the video shows at first, then adjust as you get the hang of it.Hope that helps. My daughter loves it, so I’m investing in the refills and are looking into what we can fill these with.

So, this thing makes somewhat good squishies, but the outside of the squishies kind of rips apart a bit and it’s not long lasting. It is fun though.

My son is the happiest 4 year old ever!
My son became obsessed with Doctor Squish on YouTube kids! He watches her videos on repeat and knows them word for word. So I was excited to buy him his own squishy maker. Let me tell you at 4 the kid is a pro! We opened and immediately made our first squishy! Of course with everything you have to practice. But for everyone that is complaining in the reviews they are obviously not researching or following directions correctly! We have made all of these now and had no issues. So to all the complaints, go watch some videos and get familiar. Great product. It’s also not made for children to do completely by themselves soooo supervise your kids and help them! It’s a touch messy sometimes but isn’t that what kids are supposed to do?! I would buy again for sure!

More fun than expected!
I bought this for my 10 year old daughter. I was skeptical of the purchase but was surprised to find the simplicity of the design and quality of the items to make the squishees were great. The balloons were thick and easy to work with. The included additives were fun. We even went down to our own craft supplies and added a few ribbons and pom poms to her second squishee. So far the included clips have stood the test of the squish. With that, the clips are hard for little hands to open and place around the opening. An adult with strong hands needs to help with those. Overall, a fun gift that she will go back to!
