Literally have worked with bald caps twice in my life. Once last halloween when my son wanted to be Dr. Phil and once this year when he wanted to be Gru from Despicable Me. I did not want to spend a lot of money because lets be honest, I have no clue what I'm doing and I could have always resorted to shaving his head if the bald cap didn't work...BUT...turned out not too shabby. We did have to apply makeup to conceal his darker hair underneath and to help blend. You'll see in the DR Phil photo which was our first attempt, I didn't get the cap on real tight so it rippled a little, but I did use the liquid latex around the front of his face to blend to his face to try to hide those seams. The photo with him in the scarf, I got it much tighter but didn't have time for that liquid latex this time around since you know, there was doors to knock on and candy to eat, since it was halloween and all...

This bald cap functions well, but I would suggest wearing a nude wig cap under it if you have ANY hair since it is pretty transparent. Additionally, the color does not match any of the marketed pictures. It gives off a jaundice-yellow skin tone that will not match any other flesh tone.

Flimsy, but did the job. Could only use once so not sure for the price if it was worth it. It was also too big on me.

Bought this for my daughter to use. She had to dress up like Pitbull, the singer, for a school event. She has very long and thick hair and had no issue with it.

Variety of textures due to holes(?) that were sloppily patched. This would have been fine, in itself, but the cap is also EXTREMELY difficult to blend. Stick to a more expensive one, don't waste your money. I have experience with makeup in film/photo shoots and this was the most difficult cap I've ever used. It was also weirdly yellow based in color, which through off the color palette and made the blend line even more obvious. Given the thickness and coloring, it was surprisingly sheer when it came to hiding dark hair underneath, which I have not found with thinner higher quality caps. I'm being generous with two stars, because it semi works if you're using it for a cheap alternative to a mehron cap- but be aware you need to heavily adjust for the color and will be almost completely unable to mask the line to blend it into your skin. It shipped and arrived on time, though.

Bought this bald cap for a Mr. Clean Halloween costume. Was looking for something cheap and quick shipping which this fit the bill. I wasn’t looking for anything top notch. It worked, had good stretch, and worked well with the adhesive I bought (my friends and I did an awful job cutting out the ears and putting on the adhesive). It is very see through, though. I have dark blonde hair and you could easily see my hairline through it. It also stunk pretty bad when I first took it out of the package. I’m glad I let it air out before actually using it. Smelled better the next day. It’s great for something cheap and funny like a goofy Halloween costume. Not good for something professional.
