These actually work, and are SO comfortable! I can't even imagine using 'compression' socks now that I have this 'velcro' type of closure/adjustment feature. And they don't show you're wearing them (with bulges and outlines). Easy "on". Easy to readjust. Easy "off" at the end of the day. And the Doctor even noticed that these 'work' to reduce the swelling that goes with the fluid retention.

I am an older man with venous insufficiency. Lower leg abrasions take forever to heal. I am now wearing the compression sleeves on top of my light weight compression stockings when I work in my wood shop. The neoprene sleeve will clearly add a layer of protection to help reduce abrasions on my lower legs. They do retain heat but that is tolerable compared to the issues around wounds and abrasions. My initial experience has been very positive although I've not used them enough yet so assess the effect from sawdust.

The support seems fine but I can’t wear them for more than an hour or so before they be one drenched with sweat. There is no air flow and it just soaks my legs divk shoes etc.Otherwise they’re well made , washable and easy to use.

A tough fit, but they did the job that day when my leg was badly swollen. (I had a little trouble wrapping them around my leg because my calves are wider than my ankles.) In my case, the swelling went down within two days because the brace sped up the circulation. Not pretty, but they fill a medical need.

For many years, I have had to wear knee high compression socks to treat venous insufficiency and ankle swelling. I am allergic to wearing latex containing material and pulling compression socks on and off broke down my skin. These compression sleeves worn over knee high Boston Socks made from cotton - together allow me to decrease ankle swelling during the day. With Velcro tapes, the sleeves can be adjusted to allow for swelling, when initial compression becomes too much during a busy, long day on my feet. I hang the sleeves up separately at night to air out. No longer does my skin become allergic to my socks and I can adjust compression sleeves as needed each day before bed time. I highly recommend as a 5'0 female with chronic heart failure. I have struggled for years with compression socks. For a compression sock to fit the circumference of my calf, it is too long. The extra material rolls down at my knee cutting off my circulation. I have tried the zipper ones too and same problem. These you can adjust for the perfect fit and no problem with rolling down!
