Man, I have loved this thing. Perfect for road trips, camping, and vacations. The video quality is solid. The audio isn’t fantastic, but that’s to be expected. It’s just hard to find the right volume sometimes. I have so far taken it on planes, a cruise, and multiple road trips. Solid product. Awesome screen.

Update: Customer service contacted me after the review I left and was very helpful. They had suggestions as to what to do to make my situation better and sent me a new remote as well. I was surprised and very pleased with their response.Original review: The remote has to be angled specifically to get a connection. The speakers leave a lot to be desired in terms of clarity and volume, but the picture quality is better than most units out there and serves its function. Would I buy it again? probably not...but I can see that a lot of people might like it.

This works pretty well. The screen is nice and large, but the view angle for optimum picture is fairly narrow. This would make it more difficult for multiple people to watch, but I got it mostly for myself to watch. The speakers are rather tinny, but it works well with headphones.

I went through a couple of Portable DVD players before I settled on the Wonnie Blu-Ray with a 14.1 inch screen. While I found that a player with a 10.2" screen displayed a very good picture, I found it to be too small for my tastes. I am very pleased with the Wonnie 14.1 inch size and picture. I recently watched the movie "DUNKERK" on the Wonnie and it looked beautiful. Mastering the settings and controls of the Wonnie are a challenge and require your determination. One of my big concerns about this is the ability to make adjustments to the TV picture itself - being able to adjust the color level if it is too saturated. On page 22 of the User Manual is where you will want to access the Display Settings. Click on the top of the page where you see a gray box and an icon of a TV screen. From there you can reach the area where you can adjust Brightess, Contrast, Hue, and Saturation. What about audio : Lets face it, you're not going to get great audio if you just listen with the small built in speakers...I use headphones. Amazon is a great place to check out headphones - with prices to fit your budget. Also, another plus here: You might want to get a "Volbox" (product name). You connect it from the headphone OUT to the IN input of the "VOLBOX" and from the OUT of the "VOLBOX" directly into your headphone. WHAT DOES IT DO? It allows you to increase or decrease the volume level - gives you a nice little boost in sound. I love this player & use it in my office as I am at my desk a LOT, working from home. Really came to rely on this & it brought me hours of enjoyment for almost 4 months when suddenly, nothing came up on the screen as normal when I dropped in a DVD. I went thru the manual & followed directions- nothing. So, I contacted the company via the email address (no phone #) & the guys were just buried at that time, but when they got back to me, I was given the choice of a replacement with a new one OR a full refund. I took the new one & let them know that on a Thursday morning & was told "latest delivery date would be 6 days".....it showed up the next day, on Friday! To be honest, I price-checked other players while I was waiting on their initial response to my problem, & there WERE cheaper units, but I'll tell you this with absolute certainty- NOWADAYS, I appreciate great service ABOVE & BEYOND the sale, & in this "digital age", where things can get so "impersonal" & you end up "feeling like a number"- THESE FOLKS DELIVERED THE GOODS! Again- worth every penny! Thanks for a great experience, guys! Would definitely buy this product again.

I used this player for the first time the other night. It worked great. I used headphones with it, but I took them off to heat the sound and it's not that good. Headphones would be a must.

I just received the second blu- ray player. I'm very disappointed. The sound is nowhere as I expected. I'm thinking about returning this second one. The regular DVD players are much better. The sound is much better. To enjoy the Blu-ray player speakers that are portable plug-in speakers are needed and there aren't many plug-in speakers with nice volume. I wanted to take the Blu-ray on a cruise ship but wired speakers aren't allowed. So so disappointed.

I figured with the price it would have way better sound quality but the speakers are not good the battery life is not the best but the image quality is okay but not really clear

I absolutely love this bluray dvd player...It's worth it for the money...The picture is so clear & crisp & the audio is really great! A great buy for anyone who's looking for a bluray player...💓😊

Easy to use

This compact movable DVD player is exactly what I was looking for. I wish that the speakers were louder. A set of long, wired ear buds would be appreciated. I wish that a much longer charging cord could be included. I leave it charging for an hour+ while using it, but it barely holds a charge for the next dvd.
