Worth the money
This was a replacement for a 20+ year old closer I had in place. It worked perfectly. It was easy to install and had all the right parts. Very good commercial quality.

A solid alternative to more expensive name brands
I'm not sure how much of a name brand Dynasty is - we've always had Assa Abloy closers, I think - but this one is a very good alternative. The quality for the price is terrific. The directions are a bit less clear, and the adjustments are not as precise, but it's a solid closer and the tradeoffs are definitely worth it.

Easy to replace broken unit
The old unit broke from wear and tear and was slamming the door. Wanted to get one to replace the unit that was on the door. Found this which was the exact replacement. Went in fine and is working great. We just installed today.

not much instructions
For someone that knows what they are doing, this would be great but with no experience I felt like the instructions were sub par. I did some guess and check. It was a 10 minute job that took me an hour.

It did not last long.
Been installing door closers over 35 years. Gave it a try. Poor quality valves makes it hard to adjust door closing speeds. It's leaking after about a year and needs new one. Going to replace it with a LCN.

great product
these are great closures but always check the cover as i have received a few over the time ive been buying them that are cracked or busted from shipping
