Perfect travel crutches and even better for daily use!
I really love these crutches! They are light and sturdy, just what you would expect from a high quality carbon fiber built item. It is balanced well and very light. They are lighter than my normal aluminum crutches and feel much more comfortable. The case is a nice touch, but the case is just a bag with a draw string. They should make an actual carrying case that will hold two that I can wear as a backpack. They would sell along with these crutches, if they make it. I literally was searching for travel friendly crutches. These are definitely travel friendly, but they won't fit in a typical backpack, nor a normal carryon luggage. They are approximately 22.4" when folded and the height of a typical back pack is 18". Carry on luggage is about 20-22". This will fit fine in your large checked luggage. I jerry rigged my 18" backpack so that they will hold these crutches if I put them in the side water bottle holders and secure them with an elastic velcro band that is 24.6" long and can stretch to 40". You will need a strap that can wrap around the circumference of your backpack, and a backpack with water bottle holder(s). You can find these elastic straps here on Amazon by searching for "elastic velcro straps". These crutches do not have shock absorbers, just in case you are wondering. Anyhow, happy travels!

Nice
It's not a fun thing to need but these are light, allow some breakdown and work well. If you need them as some of us do on occasion, these are a REALLY nice alternative.

Awesome cane alternative, light and quiet
2 year update: this product still works excellent.. Just a few small scuffs that are not very noticeable. However one of my crutches has gotten a slight creaking sound after putting my full body weight several times, but it is not very noticeable. There was a time period of about a week to a month where I needed to use both crutches and put most of my weight on them. I would not recommend it for this purpose, as it hurts the wrists and does not provide the right type of support, but it gets the job done in a pinch. My typical use is I have 1 crutch in the car and 1 crutch in the house, and I use it as a cane alternative. I walk inside a building with my crutch folded and try to walk as much as I can without hurting myself. The only downside to doing this is that the cane looks kind of like a gun when folded lolOriginal post: Using one crutch in place of my cane is so much better. Less pressure on my wrist so I can support myself much better. This was a great purchase even if I don't use the other crutch. Super light weight, comfortable, and SILENT! I don't even like wearing shoes that make a noise, and the crutch passed the test.I wish it was more closed at the top OR had a strap because it would tip a bit the wrong way while moving. I bought the add on strap and I would not recommend it, it slips and adds extra bulk.

Additional Mobility Tool
They are as lightweight, fold-able, and durable as anyone could hope for, if the person is still on their feet (but challenged in stability issues). However, even with added hand-pads, I was not comfortable and could only walk around the neighborhood. I did not take them for moderate-rated hikes, so would have returned them. I wavered, " too late to Cancel/Return' by Amazon Prime. Let me restate, I did much online research before purchasing. The manufacturer should look about MORE COMFORT under arms and to protect hands and wrists. If so, I would gladly paid more !!! I personally choose an "All-terrain/collapsible Up-Walker". Miss Nona.

Great crutches at a good price
I broke my leg and the economy under arm crutches are more than I can deal with for 6 weeks. These are SO much better. The handles are super grippy which is good for safety but you can pinch your skin if you don't grab them right so make of that what you will. Fully adjustable and carbon fiber look is great. Reflectors - just silly and they don't reflect. All the nit picking aside these are great crutches at a great price and would definitely buy them again if needed.

Solid with great aesthetics
They are super lightweight. I can hold them both with one hand easily to open a door or grab something to stick in my stuff bag. I'm on the heavier side of the max weight of the product and it has been incredibly sturdy. Much more sturdy feeling than some steel rivets holding everything together. One of the pole tension supports (make sure you tighten them) likes to get stuck on my pair but that's just a minor inconvenience. The forearm cuff section to handle is rigid plastic which absorbs the stress incredibly well. I sprung extra for the forearm padding and handle padding. Handle padding is a good idea. After a week of using these coming from auxiliary crutches, I am far less grumpy getting around.

Best Crutches You'll Ever Use
I broke my foot 2 weeks before going to Europe and I had to find a way to make it easier/more comfortable to walk for long periods of time. These crutches are far more comfortable than the armpit ones plus they are are much smaller and easier to store. They fold very easily into the overhead bin on planes (or a backpack/bag) and they are very light weight. My only suggestion is to get some additional padded hand grips for them if you're going to be crutching long distances. Totally fine without the padded grips but its always nice to have a little extra padding. Highly recommend these. 10/10.
