Rugged and excellent power source for phone.
Used to power phone from battery, rugged and good quality. Like zero power use when dormant and parked without phone. (Used phone power cord to wire from handlebar under tank and seat for clean connection.)

Easy to install and feels solid and not cheap
Easy install on a 2019 Street Glide Special. I used a zip tie to secure it to a cable/wire behind the side cover and routed the plug into my saddlebag. I've not mounted it in the bag. I plugged a high-speed cable into the port and charged my Samsung phone without issue. It did not fast charge, but that may be indicative of the bike and not the plug. The build quality feels solid on the plugs and the cable. Easy upgrade and beneficial if you take longer rides.

Charging unit
Haven't put it on the bike yet but it seems to be a decent product as I purchased the same one in the past

great add on to a motorcycle
Used to add a USB charging plug to my Enduro klr650. Works well just make sure you don't drain your battery, safest to charge for short periods or while the bike is running. Plugs into your battery tender lead, you can disconnect from the lead to charge your battery.

Excellent!
I mounted this on the dash of my motorcycle. I keep the cover on and it seems to seal up nicely and it works when I need it. I did a six week ride around America and I used my cellular telephone as a GPS for much of the ride in a handlebar mount holder. This was the port that I plugged the phone charging cord into and I did not have one single problem on the whole trip.

Works good.
Easy to install. Wires are long enough to go from the battery area to the handle bars. Have to route it under the tank and frame to make a good look. It works well.

Works, but will drain your motorcycle battery with no device plugged into it.
I bought this one because comments on here said the amount of battery drain was insignificant. NOT TRUE.WARNING: It consumes a small amount of power just sitting there - no USB device connected. Not really a problem when riding daily. I took a week off due to weather and bike wouldn't start. Barely enough battery left to run lights. Instead of taking the ride I was planning, I had to charge the battery that evening. So now, I have to open the seat cover to plug it in or unplug it from battery. Not marking a star down for this, but it is something to consider. This is a fact of life to convert 12V to 5V - there is a resister that consumes a small amount of power. When running the engine, the generator will overcome this loss. When engine off and parked, be careful. How long until trouble develops if you leave this hooked up to your battery depends upon the size of your battery.Otherwise, it works as advertised, has plenty of cord, and a secure rubber cover.I will buy another one that comes with a cut-off switch (built-in) for my bike and remove this one.
