Photographer's Guide to the Leica D-Lux 6 Paperback – March 3, 2013

I’ve owned a lot of cameras in my life, but this D-lux 6 is my first Leica. I found the official manual online, but like most manuals it was stiff but informative, and I wanted a lot more. This comprehensive guide covers all the ins and outs of this camera from an unbiased expert’s viewpoint, and I’ve learned to like this camera much more because of it. Highly recommended!

The author writes clearly and gives you a perfect understanding of how this wonderful camera works. This book is both a "how to" for first time users and a reference manual for those people who think they know all this things this camera does. After spending $700 on the camera, this book is less then the price of a fed ex package and it unlocks all the features you paid for. Buy it!

No better reference to learn about your D-Lux camera. Leica should hire him to write their manuals. Way better than what you'll get with the camera. And when your spending that much for your Leica, you owe it to yourself to get one of these manuals to help you get the most out of it. Bang for the buck!

This is a very useful guide to the Leica D Lux 6 that explains the capabilities of this amazing camera. It goes beyond exposing the camera functions by giving examples of how these functions work and the advantages and disadvantages. It has numerous really excellent photos to illustrate the text, that are very helpful. Also it explains the basic concepts of digital photography while explaining how the camera works with these concepts.

Upon its arrival I quicly learned how valuable this manual is and would recommnend it not only those who own the Leica Delux-6 but to anybody using a similar camera, and the availablity of the accuratly described item, nearly immediate delivery, and overall service exceeded my expectations! ....Putting aside the product manual, this book really tells in plain language how to use this great and relatively affordable camera to it's potential!

I purchased a D-Lux 6 right before going on vacation and needed a quick lesson on using it. I found this Photographers Guide and I'm so glad I did! The Guide is very thorough, yet very easy to understand. I got up to speed in a hurry and had a wonderful vacation with my new camera. I highly recommend this Guide.

This small book is a very simple and easy to understand user guide for the Leica D-Lux 6 camera. I have not finished the entire book and probably won't. I did go through the first four chapters and I know that by doing so I am getting much more bang for my camera buck.

I highly recommend this easy to read, easy to understand, and profusely illustrated "manual". The full Lecia manual, supplied on a CD with the camera, is a PDF file, small, and not nearly as thorough. The Leica D-Lux 6 is a very full featured camera, and you will get much more out of it with White's book.
