Different novel from Collen Hoover
It Start With Us: By Colleen HooverI read Collen Hoover 5 to 6 novels and I was not a huge fan of her still reading this one .It’s a sequel to It End With Us .But this novel author clearly give pictures of domestic violence and how it’s affecting the children .I prefer novels which give pleasure to read and valuable message to the society .what’s happening in the society despite of time and situation, an exemplary author can convey to the readers as novels short stories etc. It’s the story of Atlas a chef and Lily the florist .Lily is a single parent with having a daughter who is turning one .Lily and her ex-husband Ryle settled into a civil parenting system ,she is not comfortable leaving her daughter Emerson with Ryle because of the assaulting and abusing she got for him. Bumping to her childhood friend after 2 years make the turning point in the story. Slowly their relation changes and Lily is afraid of how Ryle react to this and the trauma she is going through is almost everywhere we can see in the society but we call in different names .When we are mad ,sad, grumpy we need a hug ,a shoulder to cry or a soothing voice to boost us up all humans in the world need and author pictured Atlas in such way all of us need a partner like that in some point of our life.It can be a friend or a husband anything to trust on . Atlas friends in the story tells a lot about the values of friendship.Story goes in a way which tell everything through Lily and Atlas Past of Atlas how difficult it was with his step father and how his mom behaved to him when he was 15 ,these characters made each of us to think .Any kids have highest hope about their family when it gets scattered the outcome will be beyond words. These relations affect them very badly .The impact will be lifelong .12 years Atlas did not know about his brother once they met they are going to start and new life. Tiny seedling with 2 branches 2 brothers.Lily with the support from her sister in law talking her past with Ryle and getting over it with strong rules and beginning a new life with her daughter and Atlas .Everything ends in a sad note in one side but again life starts with a new ray of hope …. A new nest of 2 brothers and a family for Atlas and Lily ……

3.5 stars
3.5 starsThe author says that she was sure she didn’t want to write a sequel to It Ends With Us but because of the momentum it gained, she ended up writing it. Well, I feel that her initial decision would have been valued. It Ends With Us was a book I had only good things to say about and no other book instilled such strong feelings as it did. But that’s not the case with It Starts With Us. It most definitely is a page-turner but I think that’s because of the writing style.I have a couple of things that I didn’t like. First, it doesn’t have an emotional drive to it like the prequel did. The story just went on. Secondly, it’s about Ryle. Ryle was one of my favourites from the first book despite his bad character because I had some points I could reason him with. BUT here, he’s a different person. Totally. He is sick and basically an a*****e. And even Atlas, on whom I had an impression that he wasn’t particularly handsome, is totally reversed here. I’ve found such inconsistencies in the second book.It is an okayish sequel to an outstanding book.

A wonderful journey ✨
I am a novice reader, having completed this novel as my 4th novel, but I won't complain a single bit! The whole novel series journey is beautiful, like some parts are rough, some are very beautiful, that explains life as well! I will really recommend this novel series to anyone, specially 18+, because there are some contents which shouldn't be for underage.😅 Nonetheless, in adults, this series truly explains the meaning of giving respect to anyone and accepting their past! Atlas's character is truly amazing, his demeanor in difficult situations is just wow! I am really moved by him and want to become like him! I will definitely recommend this novel to girls/women, if they want to know the meaning of respect, whereas for boys/men, how to be like Atlas and not be like Ryle a single bit!

Bandaid made of hugs and food
For someone who loved and forced people to read It ends with us, I didn’t look forward to Atlas pov but I for sure have fallen in love with him after reading #itstartswithus . It’s not like I didn’t like him in #itendswithus , I wanted Lily to have a fresh start with new people bcoz I thought the memories would haunt her but I couldn’t be more wrong. I’m so happy Atlas was the person she could turn to. His hugs, letters and food are everything! (I so want to eat something Atlas prepared) 🤤Alyssa stole book 1 by being the best even though Ryle is her brother by taking Lily’s side but Marshal being Ryle’s friend stole book 2. Huge hugs to this cutest and bestttt couple! ❤️We get two more cuties - Josh and Theo. Loved their relationship with Atlas. Also I loved how It starts with us is integrated into the plot for Atlas just like It ends with us was for Lily. Also I know there are mixed feelings for this book but I loveddddd it! ❤️ 4.5⭐️ read!
