Esschert Design USA Ceramic Birdbath-Blue/White

Fast and efficient ordering and delivery process. The bird bath bowl is rustic-looking, with a pretty blue and white delft-like ceramic design. It’s sturdy enough (weight wise) that it won’t easily tip over. I bought it to attach to an existing pedestal that I had in my yard, and it fits on top perfectly (with the help of some glue). Highly recommend this product and this vendor.

The bird bath I received had clearly been returned. There was carving in the cardboard box, half the bird statue's face was chipped off, and the bath was covered in a yellow crud. Since I had not planned on using the bird statue and I didn't really have time to return it, I cleaned it up and put it outside. I have a high traffic bird feeder on a balcony several stories above ground where the birds are safe from anything but flying predators (and we don't have a lot of those). I bought this as a supplemental feeder for small sized food - something that would stay cool in the summer and not blow away. "My" birds (who generally eat out or drink out of anything) won't go near it - with the exception of the occasional brave starling - and even the starlings are passing up the suet cake I put in the middle of it - and they normally devour suet cake pretty quickly. I wish I had saved the box - but I didn't and I think this is headed for the dumpster.

The birdbath arrived in tact with no chips or broken parts, which was surprising considering how poorly it was packaged. Still the dish is attractive. Unfortunately it is so shallow there’s no way this dish will attract birds. My alternate use is to put sand in it and add water on top of that in hopes of attracting butterflies. Otherwise, it’s a mosquito paradise. Save your money. If the dish was deeper it would have been well worth it. Because there’s a hole to accommodate the ornamental bird about an inch from the top, it’s impossible to fill the dish completely — making it even shallower.

I was wary because some of the reviews mentioned the item arriving broken, or that it wasn't the same color, but I'm happy to report my shipment came very securely packaged, and looks exactly like the images. Not only that, but it looks even cuter in my little patio garden than I expected. I needed a baseless bird bath, and this is the one for me! Additionally, it's a nice shallow bath for the smaller birds in my neighborhood to enjoy. Now I get little (and big!) bird visitors every morning and afternoon for a little splash and a drink. I love it tremendously!

This is a good looking bird bath and would make a great gift for someone with an apartment or small courtyard. Note that is it made in China.

Just perfect! I was looking for a replacement for the bowl on my birdbath and this is exactly what I needed. High quality product. The bowl will be easy to clean , should last for years.

I like the design but this is very poorly and cheaply made. The whole thing is somewhat fragile feeling I don’t know that it will last long. The blue/white insert is cracked and chipping as seen in the pictures. The bird is so loose and sort of flops to the side so I added tape around the base to make it more secure. The concrete color for the outside is a single layer of very cheap paint that you can see through. The whole dish is very shallow and doesn’t hold more than a cup a half of water so not practical for a bird bath. Would be more useful as a feeding dish. I needed something to place over a low stump in my front yard as this is cheaper than having the stump ground out and looks ok from a distance until I find something more durable.
