Why is this so weak smelling, compared to the olbas oil in europe? are the oils just oxydized by the time it reaches the customer, or what?

I'm not sure about from different countries but in my opinion it's pretty strong in odor. I use it as a massage oil for my muscle disorder. It works wonders!

Is this okay for animals? Specifically hedgehogs?

Many essential oils, such as eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, cinnamon, citrus, peppermint, pine, wintergreen, and ylang ylang are toxic to pets.
