No more leaks

I inherited a blender--When the motor burned out, I kept the top which covered the container. Some time later in a thrift store, I found an excellent Oster blender with no top. Serendipity, right? They fit perfectly & I have used that blender for years with no problems. 2-3 months ago, I stored the container in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning when I opened the door, the blender lost balance, falling to the floor, splattering contents everywhere and breaking the black base which holds the blender in place. What am I to do? Finally I thought: only this base is broken, I don't need another blender, Amazon comes to mind immediately--Oster parts easy to find. I placed the order right away, got it in a few days.
