A new must have for me on long rides
The media could not be loaded. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I used to put way to much mental energy into the directions of where I'm going on a trip. Phone holders were ok to have GPS up, but the battery goes dead and then your stuck. This giving constant power solves all those issues and makes for a more enjoyable ride. I bought other powered holders but not all have the flexibility of unplugging at the unit so that it can be cleanly removed when not in use. I also REALLY LOVE the short swivel base (sold separately) because it not only allows me to adjust the phone position, but it is a quick removal of the power unit without needing a tool on hand (see video) - in 10 seconds I can have the unit mounted or removed to lock it in my bags. I also like the power cable (sold separately) that allows you to set to on "auto" that automatically turns off the power when your bike is off and your battery gets to a certain point. You can turn the unit off with the switch on the unit, but if you forget, this power line is a nice backup. It's also nice that the unit has an LED indicator of whether it's on or off. Its just a really well built and well thought-out Product. In my comprehensive search, I did not find another one better for me. Installing is pretty straightforward, but it does take some mechanical sense and disassembly of the bike to connect to the battery and run the wire, so If you aren't comfortable with partially taking apart your bike, this is not a simple plug and play in most cases to cleanly install it.

Love it definitely needed
This product is a must and an absolute life saver if you have a motorcycle. My phone gets to charge while im on rides, I have never had it drain my battery. My buddy had it drain his battery once but he bought the secondary attatchment that turns the charger off when the bike is off. Good product kind of expensive.

Nice quality part.
This was a must have for me as the charging port on my phone does not work. Works great.

Not just for motos.
I now wirelessly charge my phone via the dynamo hub on any of 3 different bikes while its safe in its waterproof case. No more water and mud in the cable port alert during sloppy gravel races or long brutal bike packing trips. This thing is quality, solid, supports fast charging. The silicone power button on the bottom is easy find, easy press(depending on your wiring circuit, it can be anti charge brick drain feature while stopped, or let power go elsewhere if phone is fully charged). The spring loaded pull up paddle locks the rotation, so no surprise twist off releases. The key parts to build a stem bolt mount from the KOM Cycling mount, for example are avail right from QuadLock but the crucial bit is 3D printed from Etsy overseas. Its a variable thickness mount puck/adapter as 2 tiny bolts on the bottom for the base of the KOM mount, with the tip side having the anti rotation radial ridging matching the bottom of the QuadLock moto mount charger pattern. The canter also has a metal threaded insert matching the long center thru bolt of the Quadzlock motor mount charger. It all stacks together for the perfect slim/minimal and secure (only) wireless phone mount charger in existence.

Expensive, But Works with my iPhone SE
I wasn't sure if this would work with my phone, but it charges my iPhone SE 3rd-gen just fine. I have it mounted on a Quad Lock anti-vibration mount, mounted to a Quad Lock handlebar mount on my 890 Adventure. It all works together really well. Installation is just replacing a single screw on an existing mount.I haven't hard-wired it yet. For now I'm just using a dual 20W USB-C adapter in the 12V socket on the bike's console (the other one powers an X3 in loop mode for a "dash-cam"). I've still got the USB-A plug built in to the console free if I need to power something else.If its going to rain, I just unplug the cables and cap them with the little plastic protective caps that come on most new cables since they're all zip-tied in place, then I stow the adapter in a little zip-lock bag in my jacket. Since the USB-C socket under the Quad Lock charging base does have an extended hard plastic sleeve to keep rain out, I went ahead and used heat-shrink on my USB-C cable and that extension to make sure no water gets in. Obviously, I leave that end plugged in. I imagine a little electrical tape would work as well.I don't like the price of Quad Lock gear, but, honestly, there really isn't anything else out there like it that is high quality. So, for now, I'm willing to pay the inflated prices for convenience.

Works well, good quality. Note you may need to supply a longer USB cable.
Quality is good, works well to charge at standard speeds as long as you have a wireless charging compatible Quadlock case. Good lockup on the case. They supply 3 different sizes of USB cable, but the USB port on my bike is under the rider's seat, and the longest cable they supplied was barely long enough to reach that port and cleanly route along the bike's wiring harness out of sight. Even 1" less and I'd have had to source my own cable.
