Great fit and really nice looking!
Bought these for my son who's starting a new job. He's just 5'3" and weighs about 130. The 29wx30l was great. The length was a little long, but the waist was perfect. These pants look sharp. A nice level up from jeans. Very well made and sturdy. Definitely recommend!

LOVE THESE - use them for everyday
I bought one as a trial. Then I bought 4 more. I actually use these for everyday use. I LOVE the side pocket, fits my large phone perfectly, and super easy to put in and take out. (I think if you go to an area that has a high pickpocket rate, don't use that pocket). It will not fall out, and feels very secure. The pants are super comfortable. Not the most stylish, my son makes fun of me because they are a bit baggy. Who cares, I live in them and work in an office environment. So while they are on the "casual" side, they are nice enough that I feel dignified. Certainly better than jeans, not as formal as dockers.I did start removing the back pocket tag, it's small but very contrasty and visible in the middle of the pocket. But do it as soon as you get it, or you will end up with a small differently colored square over time.Edit: It's now 6 years later and I only wear these, all day, all year. I have bought about 14 pairs so far. Comfortable, and had the best phone pocket. I use them for everyday office and I also work as a field service guy (lab equipment). These are a great cross between "just good enough for office and meetings", and tough enough for my active days. Caveat: Over time, the seat area gets looking bad. The ones that age the best are the grey/pebble ones. The dark blue or black, look awesome while they are new, but age quicker. For me, when they start looking bad, I downgrade them to workshop use.

Comfortable, nice pants
Good product. Only 4 stars as I had to return the first pair. (Waist too small). I would recommend going up one size, i.e. if you normally get a 30-32 waist, go for the 34-36.

Sizing comparison, leg opening comparison, feel of material, read on...
I purchase a balanced amount of products between brick and mortar stores and online. Plenty of stores carry Carhartt clothing but no one close to me carries the Carhartt Flex Rigby with the exception of Academy, and only in the camo/mossy oak color. So of course I went there to at least verify what size in the Flex Rigby would work. For those who care, even though I didn't purchase these pants from Academy, I did purchase other items that day. I ordered these from Amazon in size 33x30. The waist is perfect and as expected; it seems identical to multiple pairs of Levi's 559's I have. The length was a surprise, as it's closer to a 32 than a 30 if comparing to the same Levi's. The size of the leg opening at the bottom is 17 13/16", and nearly identical to the Levi's 559 as well, which is to say just right for not swallowing tennis shoes but still open enough to easily fit over a work boot. The leg portion fit is more like a "normal" (read not skinny jeans) pair of jeans and are also not so large that you feel like your wearing a sumo suit. The flex at first wasn't that noticeable, but that's only because it's just the right amount and not overdone to a point you feel like your wearing spandex. The flex is definitely a great feature though and one that's immediately realized once you put on a "non-flex" pair of jeans. The feel of the material is closer to your regular blue jeans, and not stiff or "scratchy" like the ripstop or heavy duty work pants. The side cellphone pocket; it'll fit a Samsung Galaxy in an Otterbox case by the way. I think the picture for the dark khakis is incorrect as in person the dark khakis is as one would probably expect, which is darker than the pair shown in the picture. I hope they wear as well as the Carhartt cargo ripstops, which are very similar in the fit. Of course where they're made can make a difference in the sizing, but the 33x30's in Dark Khakis seem to be a winner, even if a touch on the long side.UPDATE: 1/20/19 - The pants have been worn close to once a week since purchase, and although not subjected to harsh work environments, they've worn great. Belt loops still in tact, top corners of rear pockets show no signs of wearing through or pulling apart, and the fit seems to be the same and with no noticeable signs of wearing in any stress areas.

Great
These are great pants. Light weight but enough for work. Summer will be great. They do shrink 1 full size in length and in waist! They sit just below waist so you won't have sagging pants. Pockets are perfect and deep. Leg pocket does fit phone and has a upper inner overhang to enclose phones or small items.

Really good quality pants
Perfect sized pockets and lining. Good material. Latch and zipper good quality. Open-style back pockets.Very good pants, can't find anything wrong with them.Edit: I did find one seam area that is about 1 inch below the right-side back pocket 1 inch down. There is a thick spot that you can feel rub against your leg. This pants has 1 side-pocket on the right instead of the split 2 side pockets on the right, so it's probably a slightly different design.

Nice but not suited for heavy duty work.
I like the pockets. Good size to fit the tools i need on my person. They're comfortable and look good too. But if you work in a busy shop where you're constantly moving, these give out quick. After a few months of 60 hour weeks, the pockets start to tear apart (usually the side leg tool pocket goes first. Then the back pocket. Then the knees. I've gone through several pairs of these as well as the carhartt cargo pants and its the same for all of them. Side pocket. Back pocket. Knees. I guess if you dont bend your knees a lot or put tools in your pockets you'll be okay. Farming, landscaping, but not construction or mechanical work. They're still RELATIVELY more durable than dickies, but that's not saying much. I might have to try ones with reinforced knees, but ive had a lot of issues with carhartt when it comes to their work clothes.
