Excellent Vacuum Sealer – Keeps Food Fresh Longer!
I purchased the NutriChef Automatic Vacuum Sealing System for my husband, and it has been a total game changer in the kitchen! The system is super easy to use, and the starter kit has everything you need to get started right away. We’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and it has made storing leftovers, meats, and snacks so much more efficient. The vacuum seal is strong and effective, keeping food fresh longer in the fridge or freezer. It’s compact and doesn’t take up too much space on the counter, which is a big plus for us. Plus, the sleek design looks great in the kitchen. My husband loves it, and it’s made meal prep and storage so much easier. Highly recommend this vacuum sealer to anyone who wants to preserve food and reduce waste!

Exactly what I was hoping for!
Edited review- This vacuum sealer came with a "register & review in 7 days & get 2 free rolls & add a year to your warranty". Well damn, I wasn't ready! Didn't have anything yet to seal! Messed around & didn't post my review till like day 9 or 10. I hoped I had gotten it in "close enough", NO. Oh well. They extended the warranty though, that's cool. Ok. So I really did vac seal the fish. Really was easy & had no problems. Now for my REAL review- now that I've had it longer & used it several times. OMG I had this vacuum sealer in & out of my cart a dozen times, read reviews until I thought my eyeballs would bleed, pondered "will I REALLY use it?"- held my breath & just went for it hoping for the best. I Love this thing SO MUCH!! Since the 1 piece of fish I have done- pork chops, cube steak, raw chicken breasts, cooked chicken, shrimp, more fish and ground beef. All that & I still have some of the roll left that the unit came with (it also came with 4, I think, premade bags- I used those 1st. I think I prefer the roll)! I thought it would be something that I would drag out when I had a bunch to do at once. So far, I have had it out for 1 or 2 things & put it back up- quick & easy!! 2 weeks ago I got almost 3lbs bone in chicken breasts for almost $4. Come home, threw it all in the slow cooker/butter salt & pepper, that evening shredded chicken, divided up for 2 suppers & vac sealed both. Made for quick & easy meals later- chicken chili & quesadillas! I was like "OMG if THIS was the ONLY thing I ever use this thing for it's still worth every penny!". Probably took me, after the chicken was cooked, 10 min to shred, seal & toss in freezer (chicken was spread out on sheet pan as shredded to quick cool). When ready to use it thawed in minutes. Bought family pack of chicken breasts, divided into 3 meals, grilled 2 & sealed 2 meals worth raw. It was no inconvenience to get the sealer out for 2 things & it only took a few minutes. I am SOOO PLEASED with this unit!! I have had no issues with suction or seal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Easy to use
Works great. Easy to use.

as advertised
Working good. Might need to prop up the bag a little to align with the sealer but that seems to be pretty standard.

Workhorse!
I love this vacuum sealer! I had debated for years on buying a vacuum sealer and saw this one at such a reasonable price I decided to get it and am so happy I did. It is easy to use, works like a charm and fits easily in my cabinet. It sucks all the air out and seals perfectly in seconds. I have not used it to seal any thing that is pure liquid so I can not comment on that but for everything I have used it for it works great. I mainly use it to seal meats and pre-prepped breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos. Makes it easy to buy a large package of meat and seal them for our individual dinners. I will typically freeze everything first, place them in bags and make sure to press down the top on both side until I hear the "click" press the button and it works its magic. I would certainly buy another one if this one ever wears out and highly reccomend it to anyone who is looking for a vacuum sealer.

A bit of a pain, but does the job
This review is based on one extended use, to vacuum seal 20lbs of fresh peaches, frozen and sliced.CONS:— The lid is a pain to lock. (There is a locking mechanism on the two front corners.) I can’t simply press or even lean on each corner to lock it. I have to actually pick up each corner and squeeze the top and bottom together very tightly with both hands while simultaneously making sure the bag stays in place. If not for this ridiculous problem, it would be a decent gadget.— It feels cheap and plastic-y, doesn’t feel like it will stand up to the vigorous handling required to lock the lid in place. Here’s hoping it lasts more than a few uses.PROS:— Although I struggled with each and every bag to lock the lid, it finally did the job. I now have 20lbs of vacuum sealed peaches in my freezer.—I like the roll of bagging material. Yes, you have to cut the bag to the size you prefer, then seal one end, then fill the bag, then seal the other end. It may seem like a lot of steps, but it’s worth it to me. I like having larger bags for baking and small pouches for a smoothie or snacking.NOTES:I froze the sliced peaches first on a cookie sheet, then placed frozen peaches in bags to seal. It worked great while the peaches were fully frozen.Because the peaches were rock hard and not wet, I tried the “dry” setting first. Wrong! That did not work at all. On “moist,” it worked like a charm. Fully vacuumed and sealed. The suction worked best while the peaches were frozen. Once they started to thaw, juice was sucked out the open edge and the seal didn’t function properly. I wiped the excess juice off the machine and edges of the bag and re-sealed the bag with no problem. The fix, of course, was to work with fewer frozen peaches at a time. A better fix, dear manufacturer, would be a lid that locks in place easily so I could work more quickly, then the peaches would not have time to thaw. The roll of bagging material that comes in the box was not quite enough for 20lbs of peaches. If you have a lot of freezing to do like I did, order extra rolls from the start. The product gets three stars because it’s so difficult to lock. If locking was easy, I’d give it four stars, possibly five.
