Sometimes the "door" blows off. Maybe that's an operator error though. This square model does not hold a lot of water so one has to remember to clean it out more often and add fresh water if one is doing a lot of laundry loads. I like the square design. The vent fits in the space between the washer and dryer easily. This is a good product and adds heat inside the home which is quite beneficial in our Northern winters. I have been using this product awhile now and it is still working well. I change the filter as needed. Easy to use, adds heat, and durable. Well worth the price.

I've been using a bucket with water for the past 11 years to avoid running a duct from dryer to outside. A few months ago the washer dryer was replaced, and I noticed an increase in the production of lint. Lint was on every surface in the room. I decided I would go ahead and run the duct to outside, but the person who was suppose to do the work never showed up.Long story short, after some time, I decided to check Amazon to see if there was an indoor lint catcher. There were a few. Normally I'd go for the least expensive, but didn't want to end up paying more for being cheap. This and another slightly expensive brand had the highest reviews, so I decided to give this a try. I'm happy I did. It was fairly easy to install, and after two loads of laundry, the place was lint free. I'm very happy with my purchase, and would recommend.Edit: 7/22/24...I've had this lint catcher for 7 months and still love it. If you wash often you will have to refill the water often, and clean some lint. I'm guilty of not checking after the 2nd or 3rd dry, and often find the water reservoir dry and filled with dried lint. However, I'm not the only one using it, which would explain the rapid evaporation. The trap door opened a few times as a result to remind me to change, or clean the filter. I've cleaned it a few times throughout the months, but today is my first time changing it.

We didn’t have a great option to vent our dryer from the basement outside without a massive excavation project. This indoor dryer vent works great and is easy to maintain. Just empty the water tray each time along with cleaning the lint trap on the dryer.

Was wonderful for getting some humidity and non wasted heat in house during winter time to combat static. Was easy to understand installation instructions. I vacuum mine out regularly to prevent build up and it makes my filter last longer, just like the normal dryer vent cleaning. Seems very quality product for being plastic. Fit nicely in space I have available. No pics available since it is not needed in spring, summer, fall. Product was exact to description.

Works great. The dryer venting system in my building is bad. So instead of keep bothering maintenance I got this. Works perfectly. I do aim a fan at it because it can get a little warm. But better than breaking the dryer.
