Pleasantly surprised
I purchased this antenna based on the other reviews but because of the low price still had some reservations about it.This antenna gave me a SWR of 1.6 at 467 mhz and 1.2 on the lower end at 462 mhz. I have to say it performs extremely well. All feedback I have received report a strong and clear signal. Im using a 45 watt Kenwood and easily reaching repeaters 30+ miles away (mounting height is 35’ / elevation 690’). The antenna appears to be solidly made and built for longevity. Very pleased and recommend for GMRS.

Perfect GMRS antenna
This antenna (mounted on the side of the house) is connected to a 25 watt mobile and it works perfect. The SWR is 1.01, perfect.

Good Value and Easy Install
I used a 2ft section of PVC pipe to mount this too, and then two 10ft long fence top rails, with sleeves and thru-bolts at the joints. 50ft of LMR400-class coax cable (Wilson 400) brings it down to inside where I use it with a 10W handheld & speaker mic combo. Reception is good and I have no problem hitting a GMRS repeater that's just under 15 miles away, over the hilly Southwestern PA terrain.

Good deal
Nicely done. Resonant on the band. Looks well made for the price. The only thing I would ask is for a male connector instead of the female UHF on it. The listing correctly identified the connector as female. The female is useful for attaching to cables, but not going directly into a bulkhead connection or many mobile mounts. For my application, I need to attach to an amplifier, so I need to use an adapter. I can use it, and I don’t expect any problem with the adapter, but it would be nice on this frequency to have an option to get a male version. It hope to see a version of this product with a type-N male in the future, just like their 915MHz antenna has.

Seems to work well
I was going to make a mobile setup for this but decided to keep it at base. It's mounted on a standoff about 15ft up a mast in my yard, and used for GMRS. I'm hearing lots more, and am able to hit previously unheard repeaters. I may have to get another for it's original use.

Super Impressed
I just got my antenna today. I put it in my attic. I am super impressed with this antenna. Hitting repeaters loud, strong, & clear that I couldn't use before. This is a great value, & great antenna. I highly recommend it.

Works better than more expensive models
Works better than the 80 dollar one I ordered from a private site that most people rave about. SWR is about 1.6. Only about 1 foot long and feels solid. Mounted it in the attic.
