Strongly Built for the Money
First off, and all my fault, it’s actually smaller inside than I thought it would be. I should have done my homework. That said, it appears to be pretty strongly built and I doubt that it can be easily pried open. But, it’s light enough to be fairly easily carried off so I plan to anchor mine shortly. Zero unsightly or uneven gaps around the door, and also zero damage during shipment. I did not know, and I was surprised that you can only use a four digit code. Not a big deal, as I assume that it would be smash and grab sort of a situation if someone broke into your home. Overall, at the price, I am very happy with it and highly recommend it. Last but not least, this is a real review, no free gift or any BS here.

highly highly recommended
if you are looking for a safe SAFE , then this one is the solution.it has Key,Card and Code access.you can program any card, and no other card will open for sure.its system was in the inner side of the door, you need a batteriesit has a backup system in case the inner system has no power, it is separately can be connected to a hidden pin and can be saved anywhere , only a batteries need.it has a light inside once door opened.the supports of the door was designed inside the safe, so the thief can not use a grinder to cut it in case if it was outside.heavy, sturdy at all two strong lock.you can bolt it down or on a wall, you have the two optionsreally i recommend, there is a white color of the same safe, if i saw it i would take, but this is O.Kmore than 5 starts ............

You can use either a combination or magnetic strip VERY easily when locking the safe each time
This is actually the second one of these safes I have bought. I have them both stacked together for gun storage. The access code is quick and works flawlessly. The batteries never die in these safes (4 AA's) but I go ahead and change about every year just to avoid having to use the key backup. The card reader works perfectly too on either drivers license, credit cards or whatever has a magnetic strip on it. You can use either a combination or magnetic strip VERY easily when locking the safe each time. You also set the combination each time you close it so you can decide to make a change every time you lock it. Super easy and very nice functionality.I would DEFINITELY recommend these safes as they are perfect for what I use them for.

I suggest getting it, but read my review about the bolts.
"Bolts" are just short, fat screws. It is insanely difficult to screw in the ones on the bottom of the safe, I had to use my smallest screw driver and it still didn't fit vertically. I had to hold the screw driver diagonally, which sketched me out because I'm not sure how secure the screws are. Other than than and the key card access being a joke (read the other reviews about it for more info.), this safe is amazing. It's heavy (in a good way), thick, and looks exactly like the picture. I suggest checking for open box or lightly used products on the website if you can't exactly afford this price. I only paid around $50.

Easy to use and great features, especially for short-term rental units
Bought this safe for my rental unit and it was perfect. It is large enough to fit the standard iPad. It was very easy to set up, use (both with a magnetic strip and 4-digit code), and comes with an emergency key. It also has a light that shines inside in case the closet doesn't have the best lighting (like mine). Highly recommend, especially for short-term rentals or if you just have a few items you want to keep safe. (I had a professional install mine so it would be bolted to a shelf and the wall.)

My third one, reliable, easy to use, sturdy
This is a tried, and true safe design. My third one. Works great, easy to use, swings open easily, compact design, locks easily, very sturdy and well-built.

Poor quality and design - I do not recommend
Operating instructions say it arrives with "door closed and locked." That's supposed to be your starting point for unlocking manually with the key provided, and then programming the code (or swipe card - which turns out to be any card you may have in your wallet that has a magnetic strip on it) Arrived with door ajar which should have been my first clue that it wasn't going to operate properly. Door physically closes, but with an uneven gap and resistance, and (2) locking bolts don't extend sufficiently across (even with manual key) to actually hold the door closed - they impact against the inside edge of the safe frame. After installing the 4 AA batteries, and finding there was no power to the control panel, I had to remove the battery box to be sure all wires are connected. Battery box is installed in a cut-out on the inside of the door. Come to find out, battery box is secured by a single small screw which is held in place by a free-floating (unsecured) nut on the unexposed inside of door space and it falls inside the door cavity once (if) you manage to unscrew it. I could get power to the panel by jostling the wires and connectors inside the door, but once I placed battery box back, it was dead. Repeated this pattern 3-4 times. At this point, and knowing the bolts didn't even secure the door, decided to box it back up and get my money back. It did come with an external back-up battery box which could be plugged in with simple connector pin on the outside of the door under the key panel - in case the installed batteries failed. That was a good back-up design (my 1 star). But, otherwise very poor design. I do not recommend this product at all. It will be on its way back within 2 hours of me opening the box.

Easy and compact
Just like in hotel rooms. Easy to set a code and you out the door. Highly recommend. Bought as gift to anyone I know
