Nice book
I really enjoyed reading. It was very insightful and I love the authors tone. I couldn’t put it down. Her way of wording things is so cut clear and spot on.

Good for the Soul
This was so refreshing to read and opened my mindset to realizing things I didn’t. I was doing that was ending up hurting me made me want to take a deeper perception on how I view myself and how I can take care of myself.

I wish I had read this when I was younger!
I cannot stress how much I loved this book!A lot of what I read I’ve learned through lived experience and I can look back and remember exactly when and how I learned it. But how gentler it would’ve been to learn it from a book than from the world.10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a fun, freeing, and fierce self help (ish) book full of color, casual narrative, illustrations, and insight that will make you relook at yourself and the world around you. She’s also extremely inclusive of all identities and communities - on the second page she mentions ableism and its impacts on society; as a full time wheelchair user, I was sold instantly. In the wise words of Forence,“Life is too short not to love the sh*t out of yourself! You are the love of your own life, so start acting accordingly.”

Ok - but there are better options
Cover is bright and images in book are catchy. Ok book. If you haven’t read any other feminist/body positive books this is a good light read. It’s not transformational. Would recommend “the body is not an apology” instead of this.

a must read
You know when you read a book and you can feel a part of you has changed for the better/you’ve learnt something extremely valuable that you’re not sure you would’ve gotten somewhere else? This is that book for me. I highly recommend. xx
