Does it work on 250V ?

No, it is only for 125V 15A or 20 A 60 HZ AC Not suitable for 250V

The gfci's red led blinks every 50 seconds, i tested it with a gfci tester and it resets just fine, the red blink is ok?

The ones I have installed do as well. From the product description “The GFCI outlet automatically conducts a Self-Test(the red light will blink once) every 40 seconds to ensure the GFCI is continually working.”

Their tamper proofing will not allow me to plug in. It is wired correctly, has power, green led is on, self and manual tests are working.

The tamper proof feature of this outlet involves a shutter that will not open only if an object is inserted in one side only (like a child would try to do), but will open when the two blades of a plug are inserted simultaneously. Try inserting your plug a little more forcefully into your new outlet by inserting both blades at once, it should go in.

Great gfci. But is upside down

Went right in as a replacement but did not work right away. Looked at the instructions and noticed all the pictures were ground prong up. I checked the labels and found that the line and load were opposite of my previous one. Easy fix. Works fine.

All 4 in order tested to work as described

I tested each of the 4 I received today becasue of some negative reviews. All passed my tests:1. The tamper resistance feature of each slot was tested with a small, flat bladed screw driver. In all cases it worked as intended.2. Mis-wiring, i.e. swapping neutral and the hot, was tested and worked as described in the instructions.3. Each recepticle was tested using the test button, all tripped.4. Each was tested with an external tester, all tripped.5. The pull out resistance of the wire clamps were tested, all were secure (a few reviews stated that these would not be used by an electrician. This isn't the case, these clamps are standard on wiring devices including switches and receptacles including "specification grade" for commercial use.)6. Some reviewers stated that the recepicles were of poor quality -- they seem similiar to the one I replaced that had had, after 22 years in an occasionally damp crawl space under a house on the Oregon Coast.We'll see how the one I installed does in the coming years and I'll amend this review if necessary but at this point I'm very satisfied with the product and price.

Absolutely a disaster. 4 arrived and 1 simply did not work. Two others had the red flashing light which indicates it is nearing the end of its useful life. Worst possible quality and such an inconvenience since I traveled to install them in a rental property I own. The 1 that worked and had no issues was fine.
