Awesome for Costco CBC-6400PC! LOVE this carafe!!
For anyone who's looking for an awesome thermal carafe for their Costco-purchased CBC-6400PC Cuisinart 14 cup coffee maker, this is for you! Though the Costco model isn't listed in the manufacturer's compatibility chart, it fits perfectly. I compared the shape of my glass carafe and this one and read a bunch of reviews (thanks, Amazon reviewers!:) that said this 12 cup carafe didn't fit others' 12 cup coffeemakers. So I figured it might fit the 14 cup model from Costco. And it's a sweet carafe. I bought this because as much as I love my Cuisinart Coffee Maker, I hate the taste of burnt coffee and find that coffee sitting in a glass carafe for more than 45 minutes tastes burnt. Enter the Cuisinart DCC-2400RC carafe. I brew the coffee directly into this and once it's done and I've had my first cup, I turn off the warmer. This keeps the coffee HOT for a couple of hours, and it keeps it warm and mostly fresh for 7-9 hours--no kidding. It's a great price, worth every penny. One piece of advice, however: I read a lot of reviews that complained that this leaks when pouring. I don't know if this was the case for others, but mine definitely leaked when I turned the top to the "open" position--it leaked everywhere! The trick is to pour the coffee with the lid on tightly in closed position--yes, you almost have to turn the carafe upside down, but it pours perfectly everytime. I love, love, love this carafe!

High Quality Coffee Carafe
This is the second Cuisinart thermal carafe we have owned. It keeps our coffee warm and fresh for, literally, hours. It is easy to clean and super durable. The last one was dropped a few times and didn't even dent. I highly recommend this carafe. My only complaint about this product was the delivery. It was delivered in the original manufacturer's box, no shipping box, no padding. The box was completely crushed and open upon delivery, but a testament to this product is that it was in perfect condition. Just please beware of this seller. Terrible, terrible service and delvery.

Well built.
Good value, good built and doesn't break like glass. It doesn't affect the taste but hard to clean inside.

But still keep this product and I Love it! I pour my fresh brew into it ...
Although, despite some claiming that it fits DGB-550BK model, IT DOES NOT FIT! But still keep this product and I Love it! I pour my fresh brew into it and keeps it hot almost all day! Poured a fresh brew in the morning and it was still hot in the evening, and even in the next morning it was warm. Love it I might have to buy one that fits my model or maybe one that fits the thermal pot :-)

Replacement for original pot, don’t buy!
I bought the coffee maker (and pot) a few years ago and didn’t realize the inside of the original pot was coated with Teflon. Eventually the coating started flaking off and I had flakes of Teflon coating in my coffee. I bought this pot as a replacement since the inside of the pot was stainless (no Teflon coating), however the lid is designed very poorly. Now the coffee pot spills every time I’m pouring a cup of coffee, and it’s a big mess. I’ll not be buying another coffee maker from Cuisinart again.

Nice quality, but design flaw
Great Cuisinart quality. Holds heat for a long time! But to pour the last cups of the coffee out of the carafe, you practically have to tip the pot upside down because the liquid gets caught behind the rim of the opening. Even then, the coffee (or water for washing) does not all come out. Can't get all water out to dry it completely out after washing either. Frustrating. How hard can it be to have an easy pour?

Didn't fit
Be careful about what model no. fits what coffee maker.
