Matin 35mm Slide Mounts 100 Pieces - Glassless White

Shame I can't use them for what I wanted (found out the negatves are positive [for prints not slides]). First class stuff tho.

Just what I needed. But I have multiple carousels. Info says 2mm thick. Since I think in inches, and don't relate to "mm" let's just say, they did not fit in my 140 capacity carousel. The DID fit perfectly in the carousel that held 80 slides

I had been faithfully buying the GEPE version, but their unavailability thankfully made me choose the Matin version, which it turns out is superior in every way. The Matin is a hinged model, easy to open, and easy to set the transparency securely in place. The GEPE, which entails two separate pieces, is awkward, and more difficult to insert and set the slide properly, is clumsy to sandwich together, and then must be manipulated to ensure it has been secured properly. As someone with thousands of slides needing resetting due to a fungus attack, Matin makes the arduous job more efficient and pleasant.

Really simple mounting, no mounting press or any other equipment required for mounting. You'll probably want a slide cutter, but the mounts fold out and all you do is fold it back with the slide mounted.Keep in mind that this is glassless and has no glass/plastic cover to protect your slides. You're going to get lots of dust and scratches directly in your mounted slides if you do not stow away and store properly

These worked very well for replacing damaged 35mm slide mounts and for slide film without mounts. Easy to use and worked perfectly in my slide scanner trays. Good price and good quality. Would buy again.

I have been coping over 2000 slides and have had to repair a few. These have come in handy and work well on my epson scanner templates

The media could not be loaded. These mounts are a tad thick and do not fit in my Kodak carousel. I have to jam them in to fit. Maybe I need a different carousel, but I really wish I had known that these run thicker than regular cardboard mounts before buying, cutting, and mounting all my slides! Upside, they’re very easy to use. Mounts snap together nicely and hold the film securely.
