Q: Think these would work for Large Quantity of Sangria for party?

They should work well. The opening is quite large so putting in the wine and fruit will not be a problem. However, while I don't think large pieces of fruit will be a problem, small bits of pulp might clog the spout. Therefore, I suggest that you strain the sangria before putting it in this container, to remove any pits or pulp that could clog the spout.

Q: Is this a free-flowing spigot or do you have to keep pressing for water to come out?

It's free flowing. Just remember to loosen the cover on top so air can get in, otherwise it starts to come out slow.

Q: Can I use this for milk? I don't see why not but has anyone tried it?

I make about 1 1/2 gallons of non-fat dry milk at a time and the easiest way to do it is in one of these containers. I use a 2 gallon one and put in half the water, then the milk powder, shake well, then the rest of the water. However, after I make it in this, I put it in pint and half-pint glass bottles. The milk tastes much better from glass, and the bottles are easy to fill using the spigot. Then I run hot water through the container and let it air dry until next time. It might be hard to wash out if you stored milk in it though.
