The coffee is wonderful, the beans grind well and have a great flavor and aroma. Our initial purchase was lost at the distribution center; Amazon quickly refunded the purchase and Blue Horse followed up immediately. Their customer service is as great as their coffee. Highly recommend!

This is 100% Kona Coffee. It is very smooth, mellow, and with a great taste. It comes from a small farm, (small business), and they care about their product and their customers. I highly recommend this coffee.

I previously submitted a negative review due to beans smelled and tasted old. Concerned about the bag not sealing well and not knowing when the roasting date was. The expiration dates are typically beyond the purchase date and have nothing to do with the current products freshness. The company was very responsive to my review and sent me a bag that was more fresh. Same lot number but expiration date was 4 months later than 1st bag. The coffee was greatly improved. The beans smelled fresh and the coffee tasted good. I worry about my next bag when Amazon bot pulls it from their warehouse. At this price every bag should be fresh!

I liked this coffee very much, although it wasn't as strong as I was expecting. But I remedied that by just adding an extra scoop. It has a very nice flavor without any bitterness.

Medium and smooth cup of coffee. With the tight seal the beans are fresh. The coffee is medium strength and has a smooth body. With the coffee being 100 percent kona there isn't a blend to worry about.

The bag of Blue Horse Kona we bought at Amazon was an absolutely quintessential classic washed Kona coffee -- gentle, pure, softly bright, with a fine range of aromatics: flowers, peach-like fruit, cocoa, a hint of fresh-cut cedar. Perfectly roasted for the bean. I was amazed, really, how fine it was, given how inconsistent Kona coffees have become in recent years.

This is good coffee and the first 100% Kona a tried. I like it and it has good flavor but to me it isn't better than a good South American at a third of the price.
