Nice and sturdy
I purchased this for the ice melt bucket on my front porch. It is great for scooping and sprinkling the ice melt on my steps. The finish is nice and the scoop is sturdy.

Works for the litterbox
After breaking a couple of plastic scoops, I decided to go fancy and order this one. I use it to transfer litter from the container to the litterbox and it works great! It’s very big and sturdy and can be easily cleaned.

Scoop
I purchased this scoop for the separation of my loved ones ashes. It was perfect for this purpose. I mean what are you supposed to use for that task? A kitchen spoon? Is that sanitary? This scoop was just right for the job before me and it is lovely in appearance. It has some heft so it feels like a quality item to perform such a task. I wish I never had to purchase an item for this purpose. I'm sure it will be nice for your ice scooping too. (sorry if I ruined it for you)

Good scoop!
I use this for dog food so we don’t overfeed our dog. Yay! Does what it needs to and it is sturdy and comfortable to use.

Sturdy
This replaced a plastic ice scoop that broke after a while of use. Sturdy but the round bottom and front of the scoop means that it doesn't scoop as well as the plastic one that came with the ice maker. That had a flat bottom and square front. With this one, I found that scooping ice sideways worked better than pushing it into the ice.

Not glass or plastic
I bought this be cause; you should never scoop ice with a glass, and I was worried about micro plastics in my drinks. It is the right size to fill up a 16 oz glass in one scoop and is good for breaking up the ice. I don't hang mine up, but the loop on the handle is a good idea if you have a huge ice maker. The only negative I have found is , if you leave it in the freezer, don't pick it up with wet hands.

Does what it's supposed to do
It's sturdy enough to break through the ice when the cubes freeze together.
