These are heavy duty and beautifully designed. “Spare no expense…” is what the craftsman said when he opened the box to mount these on the ceiling to hand a bed-swing on the front porch. Even HE was impressed with these hangers. The swing is silent as these are substantial and mount securely to the supports. It's always difficult to tell how sturdy something is from pictures alone, so I was pleasantly surprised by how thick and sturdy these brackets were when they arrived. We used them to hang a 6ft porch swing a few weeks ago, and it was a breeze. The bearings appear to be high quality as well, although only time will tell. For now though, we have a smooth swing with no "catches" or squeaks - 5 stars.
