Fun and Creative Slime Kit – Perfect for Kids Who Love to DIY!
I purchased the Original Stationery Ice Cream Slime Kit as a fun holiday activity for my daughter, and it turned out to be a huge hit! She absolutely loves making different types of slime, and this kit provides everything needed to make the experience fun and easy. Here's what I think about it:What I Like:Variety of Slimes: The kit allows you to make three different types of slime – butter slime, cloud slime, and foam slime – which keeps the experience exciting and diverse. Each type of slime has its own texture and feel, making it fun for kids to experiment and see the different results.Super Fun and Interactive: This kit really encourages creativity. My daughter enjoyed mixing the colors and textures to create her own “ice cream” slimes, and she loved the tactile nature of the slime-making process. It’s a great way to engage her in hands-on play, and it kept her entertained for hours.Easy to Use: The instructions are clear and easy to follow, making the process simple even for younger kids. Everything is well-organized and separated into individual bags, so there’s no guesswork in terms of what goes with what. The kit comes with everything needed to make the slimes, including colorants, foam beads, and scent options.Safe and Non-Toxic: As a parent, I appreciate that the slimes are made with non-toxic ingredients. My daughter loves to squish and play with the slime, and I have peace of mind knowing that it’s safe for her to handle. The materials are high-quality, and the slimes are soft and squishy without being sticky or messy.Great for Gifts: This would make an excellent gift idea for Christmas, birthdays, or even Easter. It’s the perfect gift for kids who love arts and crafts, as well as those who enjoy making their own DIY toys. The fun packaging and interactive nature of the kit make it a thoughtful and exciting gift. What Could Be Improved:Quantity of Ingredients: The kit provides enough ingredients for a decent amount of slime, but if you have a child who loves making slime over and over, you may run out of the materials a bit quickly. It would be great if the kit came with a larger quantity of the base slime or more colors to experiment with.Scent Can Be Overpowering: While I appreciate that there are scent options included, some of the scents can be a bit strong. They’re not unpleasant, but I think the kit could benefit from having a wider variety of subtler scents, or even unscented options for those who might be sensitive to fragrance. In Summary: The Original Stationery Ice Cream Slime Kit is a fantastic way to introduce kids to the fun of slime-making. It’s easy to use, safe, and offers a great variety of slime types to experiment with. The creative possibilities are endless, and it provides hours of entertainment. While the quantity of materials could be a bit more generous, and the scents could be toned down a bit, these are minor drawbacks compared to the overall enjoyment the kit offers. My daughter had a blast, and I’m sure it will make an excellent gift for any child who loves to get crafty!Pros:Fun and interactive with three types of slime to makeEasy-to-follow instructionsNon-toxic and safe for kidsGreat gift idea for holidays or birthdaysPromotes creativity and hands-on playCons:Limited quantity of slime-making materialsSome scents may be a bit too strong for sensitive noses

Worth the money.
It's actually pretty good. Directions are neat and easy to follow. Box is wonderful to keep all the stuff in. The only thing my kids complained about was the brown coloring isn't a very nice color unless you add a lot of coloring.Other than that it's a good little activity with lots to do.

Affordable Fun
Thank you so much for this wonderful product! My child loves "slime", and this set was the perfect, easy to make, enjoyable gift that she was able to do independently. She loved creating special pieces for her friends! Thank you, again, for an affordable non-messy, FUN product!

good kit for having fun
We couldn’t wait to try out this slime-making kit as soon as it arrived! My kids were so excited—they jumped right in and started creating all sorts of fun slime combinations. The colors are easy to mix, so you can get lots of cool shades. The slime turns out nice and fluffy, and it stretches really well if you knead it for a bit, just like the instructions say.Everything is super simple to do, and as long as you follow the steps, the results are great! The only thing that was a little disappointing is the scented part of the kit. It comes with different scents to make the slime even more fun, which we thought was an awesome idea—but no matter how much we added, the slime didn’t really smell like anything.Other than that small issue, it’s a good kit for having fun.

Fun and colorful, smells yummy too
Got this for my niece for christmas gift and she and all the other children absolutely loved it. The kit comes with everything you need to make fun “ice cream” slimes butter slime, cloud slime, foam beads, scents all in bright colors. The instructions were easy to follow, and she was mixing and decorating like a pro in no time.I love that it encourages creativity and keeps kids entertained for hours without needing screens. The slime is soft, stretchy, and smells sweet (but not overpowering). The packaging is cute too, which makes it feel like a real gift.Definitely a hit — would recommend for any slime-loving kid!

Worth it
First I want to get the cons out of the way, they aren’t deal breakers just some things to be aware of. First the scents smell fine but even when added in a larger amount don’t make the slime smell. I think it’s because the foam soap smell is stronger. Second the pigments are a little weird, an example of what I mean is the brown has too much red so it needs some green added to cancel that (most of the colors are like that). Third, just don’t use the snow, if you’ve ever had a diaper bust open on you, you’ll know what I am talking about but it leaves these gross wet fibers on your hands and I think it ruins the slime. As a side note it says you get two stir sticks but I only got one. Also I couldn’t get the same colors that the directions showed (like the lighter and darker pink because one of them seemed to have purple but there’s no purple in the kit) but I have other dyes to make up for it. I wish the storage box was a little bigger because when you use all containers to store slime you can no longer fit everything neatly in the box and close it.Now for the pros, the directions were easy to follow and I think they would be easily understood by children. Each recipe makes a palm sized amount. I have a toddler on the spectrum and he just recently changed his mind about slime, he used to only like over activated putty style but he likes normal slime now. It was easy for me to make all the recipes and I still had a little glue after making all of them. I hade to make one of themselves twice because I didn’t like the snow added to it. I also bought extra clear glue just in case. As for the borax water I just squirted a little at a time while I stirred until the slime stuck to itself and not the bowl. I also put a little on my hands. The clay feels very similar to model magic and it’s very soft and workable. For the price I think it’s a decent kit and the slime you make per the directions does actually feel like butter slime.
