Alpine Swiss Mens Plaid Scarf Softer Than Cashmere Scarves Winter Shawl

I got this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it. He says it's the best thing I ever bought him. It is very soft and warm and keeps his neck toasty.

I bought it as a gift for my husband. He is really enjoying it. It is warm and soft and masculine. The sizing is great too. He is very happy with it. I'll have to buy another one. Great price! I do want to mention that the product ships in it's original thin type box and mine was pretty squished up when I received it, but the product was unharmed.

It is kind of hard to describe the feel of the material. It is strangely thin, yet dense (as in the threads seem to be tightly knitted together). I was worried it would have a plastic-like or scraggly-itchy feel on the skin, but surprisingly, it is quite soft and pleasant.Scarf is long enough to wrap completely around the neck once before tucking into a loose knot, and fits snugly around my neck, cheeks, and lips underneath a motorcycle helmet.It keeps the frigid wind off my neck and lower face, but what absolutely blew me away is that it does a brilliant job of keeping rain out as well. Though the exposed tail of the scarf absorbs moisture like a greedy sponge, the wrapping around my neck tucked partially underneath my helmet keeps my skin bone dry.Speaking of water and harsh conditions, this material does excellent in the machine washer and dryer thrown in haphazardly with all of my other laundry. After 9 months of ownership, I have not come across any significant damage on the scarf except for some fuzz balls clumping up here and there. Even the fringes appear to stay intact. I frequently get the fringes caught on my other Velcro gear, and they always seem to tear right off without major damage. With all that being said, if you want to maintain the scarf's brand-new look, it is probably still best to use a more gentler washing strategy.Fashion isn't my forte, but I want to comment that the black scarf is legitimately black. It is not that faded darkish-gray color that usually passes as black. This makes it very easy to pair with all sorts of outfits, especially casual street or urban wear, as well as typical office attire.I cannot praise this item enough; and I am actually back to purchase a second one for myself so my current one does not have to pull double-duty for next winter.

Wool has always just irritated my skin ☹️ and cotton makes me clammy-cold. I saw this fleecy-ish scarf and impulse purchased it …Wow! It warms like an extra layer, without irritation!And very stylish.

Very nice product. To my surprise, it’s a spot on match to my overcoat. Arrived just in time for the extreme low temperatures this week and has been a vital part in protection from the weather. Doesn’t hurt that it’s also a great looking piece to wear.

During the snow storm around the east coast of the US, I needed a scarf to be able to shovel the snow away from the road and head to school. This came a day before the snow storm. Since then, I've been wearing this often when the weather reaches below freezing.
