Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Taco Seasoning Mix, 1 ounce (Pack of 1)

This seasoning shocked the heck out of me. It's REALLY good, I won't go back to making homemade or buying other brands, because this blend is absolute perfection. It's got a freshness taste to it, it really stands out. It's not overly salty, doesn't taste like I just dumped a jar of Cumin seeds in my meat and called it taco meat. I use 1 packet per pound of meat. I always make 2 lbs at a time so I use 2 packets with 2 lbs fresh ground beef that I season well with my chefs salt blend (1 part kosher to two parts MSG) and freshly ground black pepper. I also use just 1 serving of water when I add the seasoning, instead of doubling the water for 2 packets, I just use one packets worth of recommended water to ensure a thick, boldly flavored taco meat. Amazon knocks it outta the park again. The Amazon brand makes some of the best foods, it really is shocking how good their brand is, I opt for the Amazon brand of most foods and beverages, they're definitely doing something right, everything we've had so far from Amazon brand poptarts, cookies, seasoning blends, chips, canned veggies and household cleaning and paper products have all been EXCELLENT quality, freshness and taste. Amazon brand is the most inexpensive in price but delivers consistent 5 star, brand name quality. I can't recommend it enough. Buy this taco seasoning! Do it! Trust me!

This is a great tasting taco seasoning packet. I have been using this for a long time. I hope to never run out. It beats the name brand that is available.

Taking "Meh" to a new high or low, depending.The flavor is minimal, does not jump out with boldness like McCormick's does.My fault for not seeing the first ingredient; Maltodextrain.Compared to any of the national taco seasoning brands, this is tantamount to no seasoning at all.Perhaps young children who prefer bland food would like this.
