It is so slick that the paper just slips and will not roll up as needed. Machines I used in the past were made of cloth that held the paper in place. This is very slick plastic that is useless.

i will say without hesitation or fear of contradiction that these are, by far, the best quality rollers i have ever used. period. bar none. most other rollers would be non-functional in a few weeks, or at most six weeks. each of these rollers has lasted me over a YEAR without any loss in the quality of the roll. the cigarettes are just as clean and tight as they ever were. for a long time now, i have refused to use any other rollers. i even carry one in my "emergency bag" that i have in case of a housefire, bad storm, or some other emergency. cash, documents, ID, a week of daily meds, etc. aaaand... one of these rollers.(and to answer the obvious questions people may have; no, i am not employed by, or affiliated in any way with any company that makes, distributes, or sells these rollers; i'm an actual real person; and no, i'm not yanking anyone's chain for any sort of gain. these rollers are just that good!)

Works better than any roller I’ve picked up locally over the years. The sleeve seems durable and is a lot more responsive than the typical plastic I was expecting. The capacity is fairly thick, too. The quality honestly surprised me.
