Despite seemingly half the internet being less than impressed I don't have an issue with the newer mk3 systainers that Festool have switched to. I think if I paid the prices charged by some of my local outlets I'd wince a bit more, but for the price Amazon seem to be able to sell them at I think they are pretty solid value for the build and features on offer. For example they feel massively sturdier than the Bosch equivalent.This is one of the taller systainers offered and in the images it looks quite imposing but seems less so in the flesh. I purchased this particular size to go with the optional (and also excellent) tube holder. If you want to store items with their nozzles attached then this is the size for you, otherwise you could get away with the next size down.

I don't actually use this in the van racking system so the new features aren't much use to me. Having said that, its a sturdy box with good quality strengthening in all the relevant places.I'm totally bought into consistent storage for all my tools and this was purchased to hold a glue gun and its accessories. Stacks perfectly on old systainers so maintains good compatibility.

Good case just pricey but with the name it’s what you have to suffer

Great box to fit extra equipment inside. Only thing I noticed when locking with the other boxes the front handle doesn't fit correctly so it sticks out.

A typical example of fixing something that ain't broke.The old style with the 2 latches either side was much better.The latch on these doesn't last long on mine the handle also fell off and had to be secured by 2 three inch screws.Absolutely NOT worth the money, very disappointing.
