fun colors, easy to use. I poor some into a cup of water and it lasts for so long! The color will stain so beware of that. Bottles have sturdy lids and its a good amount of water color for the price.

My granddaughter is artistric (e.g., she makes all of her own cards) and loves these watercolors, so she was thrilled to receive these! Because the price is a bit higher than her budget allows her to get on a regular basis, she was delighted that I included a set in her birthday present. One feature is that the color remains the same, requiring no addition of water; and the tubes close well, to remain constant.

I bought these as a test kit of these stains so the small size was what I was expecting. My intended use is staining wooden toys for my kids. I have been using the color splash liquid for a few days on pine shapes which have been sanded clean first.As far as shipping, the bottles came packed in a nice tidy little box, and each vial was then wrapped in plastic individually. Each vial also had a seal inside the cap. Everything was intact when I got it and nothing had leaked.There are no instructions, so I played around with them some. I settled on soaking a rag in a few drops of the color and then rubbing it to the wood. The lack of instructions is only the reason it's not 5-star. This cost me some time trying to figure out what worked best and seemed like something you'd want to include in what I'd consider a sample pack.I was surprised how little stain was needed to get a good color. The bottle tips are almost eye-dropper sized openings, so you can easily release just a drop or two at a time. To stain a 6x6" flat surface reasonably dark took about 25-30 drops, which hardly registered as a loss of volume in even the 1-oz vial. The color penetrated pretty deeply into the wood, which is great for my application (as opposed to paint, just laying on the surface). I sanded off an area just to check, and it took some work to get back down to bare wood. That's a note of caution too, because any screw-up may be difficult to get out.As for what happens when it gets on you, they don't wash off that easily. I wore latex gloves but somehow managed to still get some on me, which I left on there for maybe 30 minutes while I was working. I tried to wash it off but the next day my kids were giving me grief about my blue fingers. It probably took 24 full hours to all wash off.

The price point for the size of these is great! The colors are vibrant and a little goes a long way. I use them to dye rice/pasta and also to add to spray bottles and mixing water for my students. I have experienced them staining a bit, so I will also add a squirt of dish soap and no more staining. I haven't experienced any leaking, but I do make sure to store them upright. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of value of these paints. I am a repeat buyer and would definitely recommend them!

Each bottle is safely sealed in case of leaking. Well I had a mess from the opening of the box. The safety wrap around the blue, was full of color, as was the violet. Unwrapping each one became a revisit of some childhood finger painting experience, but for the fact that once the violet was done, so were my hands, the shirt I had on, and a few places down a kitchen cabinet. (white nightmare) There just didn't seem to be a safe way to open the ruptured bottles without a serious mess ensuing. Unless you stripped, and took them in the shower. I don't even want to envision the color of my white tiles in there.BUT ... love the color. It is vibrant and beautiful. Will I buy again, yes. Will I open them in the shower. Perhaps.

I find liquid watercolors just gorgeous and these colors didn't disappoint!This was not a brand I was familiar with. I'm a former Art teacher, now in first grade.We all respond to beauty....the kids were delighted with their project!
