Quality Makes All the Difference!!!
If you’re looking for a glass container with a perfect seal, these jars are absolutely worth it. I’ve tried many cheaper alternatives, but none come close to the quality of these Bormioli Rocco jars. It’s all about the seal—and this one is exceptional.I eat a lot of fermented foods like kimchi, which, as you know, has a very strong smell. Thanks to the high-quality seal and sturdy locking mechanism, these jars keep the smell completely contained and ensure the contents are airtight in the fridge.Another feature I love is that every part of the jar can be disassembled for easy cleaning. I usually handwash the metal parts and put the glass components and rubber gaskets in the dishwasher, making cleanup super convenient. This investment was well worth it, and I highly recommend these jars to anyone who values quality and functionality.

Large-great for flour.
Well made nice glass containers. I use them for flour and sugar. I would buy these again.

Perfect for Tea
I use them for black regular and decaf tea bags. Made well. Tops are sturdy, everything is on straight, and they seal well. Great value for price.

Love these jars!
I am slowly changing all my storage jars to the Bormioli Clear jars! I find they take up less room as they are square. They come in many sizes which I need. They are wonderful for storing flour, sugar, beans, pasta, cereals, and other dry goods. I put a piece of clear tape on the jars and write the expiration dates on tape with a felt pen. I store yeast packets in one of the 1/2 liter jars. Love to be able to see what is in the cupboards and they look nice too! I also use the 1.5 liter jars for cookies which I leave on the counter! These are great quality and handy to have!

Heavy, well-made
I bought these jars for nut storage. They work perfectly. Easy to open, lid is tightly sealed, size is what I needed, sturdy, and designed with regular use in mind.

The Best Option I’ve Found To Store Large Quantities of Homemade Tea and Salsa
I’ve been purchasing glass storage jars and removing any plastic containers from my kitchen. Who wants harmful endocrine disrupters in their system? They vastly increase the odds of getting breast cancer etc. I also don’t want to contribute to creating additional plastic trash, which is polluting and harming the planet, humans and other sentient beings.I love these jars for storing my homemade, organic, Pico de Gallo or Hibiscus Tea!The positives: They’re a great size for batch cooking, ultra sturdy, airtight, plus BPA and lead-free. I’d accidentally dropped one in my sink and it stayed in one piece. The negatives: The jars aren’t great when pouring liquids. I have to pour over the sink and generally lose a bit of my homemade, organic goodness.I’ve purchased them a number of times in various sizes, and will continue to do so until finding a better option. They aren’t gorgeous to look at, however, they serve an important function.

Buy these for your sourdough starter!
This is my favorite type of jar to use for my sourdough starter! Keeps it sealed nicely so the smell that may attract fruit flies, etc., doesn't get out! I love that I can see all 4 sides of it easily to track activity. Easy to clean. Great value and durability in them! This is a great size if you're doing a minimal amount or just starting out. Upgrade to one of the bigger Fido jars when you're ready for more! You won't regret it.

Better than mason jars!
I love these and have them in almost every size. I use them for fermenting and like them better than mason jars for ease of opening and for their space saving shape (square on the bottom, rounded on top). Also appreciate that they are made in Italy and lids never rust! From left to right I have: Korean radish and anchovy pickles, Chinese pickled cucumber (Jiang gua zi), shio koji, marinated onions in honey and soy sauce, and garlic in Manuka honey. The last one does not ever need to be regrigerated!
