For me it works better than Lactaise brand. It seems to be gentler on my whole system.

I'm a tough customer on any supplement, but this product works pretty well. Sometimes it doesn't, but my body is not easy to treat for anything. That makes this probably a better product than most. I know that I am still buying it for lactose when I've eaten cheese or something like that in a meal even though I take a daily acidopholis probiotic.

I got these for my husband and his love of ice cream but can't handle the dairy...This works pretty good for him.

The caplets may be chewed and I do so followed by a glass of water simply to clear my mouth of the caplet "crumbs" and powder. There's no actual flavor to speak of. I take two before anything containing lactose (like yogurt, a scoop of ice cream, cheese on a sandwich or a slice of pizza). I take two more if I'm binge-ing on some lactose-filled items (like more pizza or ice cream! LOL). Bottom line here is that they work for me quite well. I have a bottle in my car and I take a few bottles on vacation as you never know how well something new would work when you're in a foreign land. This product absolutely works.

I just don’t like the fact I have to take 3 of them. The brand I normally use you only need one.

Work good does what it needs too

For people with mild lactose intolerance the 9000 FCC units of lactase enzyme in Lactaid pills is overkill. These are 3000 FCC units so you can take just as much as you need and not waste any. Knowing how much you need takes some trial and error but is worth doing. Taking that into consideration, these are a better deal than regular Lactaid.Also, these are better than the FastAct tablets because they break down slower and stay around longer so if you're eating a little dairy off and on for awhile (like appetizers at a party) you won't need to take another.
