I strongly suggest to buy this idli cooker. The plates and the cooker design looks great. It is working to my satisfaction without problem. The lid is bit tight.

Thin metal ...

Made of really thin metal sheet. In construction and design it's more like a this metal tiffin box than a cooker .

The whistle inside part looks rusted. Other than that cooker is small and good.Not sure, if all whistles are like this.
