Yummy in my tummy
I'm in love with these! I can't have caffeine (so i can only have white chocolate) so i had to give up all things chocolate. Then i discovered carob powder and my life got a whole lot better. Now that i've found these, i can't stop thanking my lucky stars! My order arrived during cold weather so i didn't experience the melted clump other reviewers mentioned. I'll see what happens when our weather returns to the hellfire we're used to (Houston), because i will never stop ordering these! They are not overly sweet but they are sweet, as chocolate and "mockolate" (mock chocolate) chips should be, and the texture/mouthfeel is perfect!!I'm storing them in the fridge, though that's not a requirement, because i like how the cold makes them...firmer? Forgive me for not knowing the best word here. I like to store my cakes/cupcakes in the fridge because the consistency of the frosting becomes thicker, more fudge-like. That's not exactly what's happening with the chips, but i hope you get the idear (yes, idear). Maybe i like cold chips because it reminds me of eating cookie dough. I can't wait to make cookie dough now!! Some of it will actually become cookies...probably. I do think i'll freeze the chips before i bake with them. This isn't chocolate so i can't expect to to behave exactly the same and these mockolate chips seem to melt easier.

Good psych out for 3yo
I use these to fake chocolate for my 3yo, who is caffeine sensitive and would stay up for hours if he ate all the chocolate he wanted.I personally think they're too sweet for me though and don't taste like chocolate. Great parenting hack though!

Very good taste
These are very good tasting. Bought them to make special cookies for my dogs. They love them.

Superior melt
The chips melt just the right amount during baking without running.

Delivery left in mailbox and it all melted
I love the product for making goodies for my dogs. T&e product was left in the mailbox, and the temp reached 105 degrees for several hours before I got home to get it. The chips melted into one big glob. I dont have time to order more, so now my fur baby will not have the chips on her cake this year.

Good!
Hello fellow carob lovers and chocolate avoiders. I ordered both Landau and Chatfield carob chips to compare them -- a tough job but somebody had to do it. Landau had gotten a lot of bad ratings for melting, and they fixed it -- the bag came sealed in a weatherproof pouch and did not melt on a 75-degree day. Landau was a few cents cheaper, not enough to matter. They have the exact same ingredients listed on the package, same weight, same size chips (little). Taste was almost identical: both tasty, both a little too sweet. In texture the Landau was a tiny bit creamier, so for my taste a tiny bit better. I wish they'd bring back the semi-sweet carob chips, or sweeten these a little less. Otherwise, both good products for us carob lovers and chocolate avoiders. Can't wait to make cookies, I hope I get to it before I eat up all the chips.
