WOW... This Blower is Impressive
My mother needed something light-weight and portable for blowing her gardens and cleaning out the garage and such. The last time I a used an electric blower was many years ago and the power was underwhelming so was a bit skeptical at first, but after some research landed on this as unit as my choice. This product truly blew me away... I cannot believe how powerful and how incredibly light this blower is. Last I checked this was actually rated as the most powerful electric/battery-powered blower on the market, and it has certainly impressed the heck out of me.I got the kit that included a 4.0ah / 18v battery, but I also have a few 3.0ah batteries from other Makita tools I own. I found, that at least for our purposes, the 3.0ah batteries are more than adequate. There is no difference in speed/output from using a larger battery, just run time.My ONE gripe with this is that there are two "attachment" pieces (extender and angled/focused tip/nozzle). They aren't required, but are nice to have. Regardless, last I checked they were selling individually for ~$20/piece. I find this to be a bit of a frustrating sales tactic to increase margins by squeezing another ~$40 for two small pieces of plastic to complete this "kit". That said, there are several off-brand options available for cheaper, and considering it's just two pieces of molded plastic this is the way I intend to go.in short, we absolutely LOVE this blower. This is not something that I'd use to clear my large yard of leaves, but is spectacular for small-medium jobs like blowing out gardens, cleaning up workspaces... we even use this to dry the cars after washing. I love this units design... it moves an INCREDIBLE amount of air, and is also incredibly lightweight and compact, and IMHO reasonably priced. I truly could not be happier with this unit and would recommend without hesitation. If you're in the market for an electric blower look no further, this unit will not disappoint!!

Excellent and a good value
I actually have 2 of these with the extensions and I find it powerful and suitable for blowing leaves, sand and debris from my yard and sawdust in my shop.

lightweight, quiet, no gas to fool with. Does the job.
love the low weight. that's the main thing. also not having to pull that cord X times to start it, fool with gasoline,, loud noise. Plenth of air pressure coming out. In short, it's great. Only drawback for me is that the battery charge doesn't last very long. Not a big problem if you buy two batteries, charge one while using the other.

great blower for easy yard clean up
I got this blower to blow all the carrot wood droppings (which is a lot). Instead of sweeping all of them, i can blow them in a corner and use a dust plan. Its light weight, easy to use and the battery lasts around 20 minutes before re-charging. Most important to me--its a Makita product and they have built in qualitywhich I like.

Powerful and Lightweight
This Makita blower is impressively powerful and lightweight, making yard work much easier. The variable speed and cruise control features are great for control and comfort. It’s well-balanced and easy to maneuver. Took off one star because it doesn’t include a battery, so be prepared to buy that separately. Otherwise, a solid and reliable tool!

Great Leaf Blower
I have had this blower for a couple months and would give it 👍👍I’ve owned Makita cordless tools for decades., using them extensively daily. They are strong, durable and well engineered. Before buying, I waited a couple of years before the first lawn tools were released to let them get the bugs worked out. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve owned the small hand held unit for construction for several years. Anyone who has seen me use it purchases one for themselves…I bought the flattened nozzle adapter for the leaf blower, which didn’t fit this model and had to return it. Turns out I don’t need it. This unit has all the power it needs and enough airflow to easily clear lots of leaves and debris from my heavily mulched planters and wet lawn. I’m using a 2 year old (or older) 3Ah battery with it to clean 4,000 sq feet of yard and lawn area. While it’s adequate, I’d recommend a 4Ah or 5Ah battery. It is very quiet for a leaf blower and my dogs don’t try to attack it. It’s well balanced for one hand operation without a shoulder strap.I purchased it along with Makita lawn mower and weed trimmer / edger. I’m ordering the adjustable telescoping hedge trimmer as soon as I’m done typing. They are all great products.I would definitely recommend any of them.

Blows Harder Than Any Blower I Have Ever Owned
Got this primarily for my wife. She loves mowing the yard and yard work in general. We have two gas and two electric leaf blowers. This one puts them to SHAME!!! When you pull the trigger this one torques in your hand. It will blow leaves that are 20 ft away from you. Just a great blower and not too loud either. Very pleased.

This blower is very strong, good for around the house work, battery life is good for about 30 minutes when running at full power but at medium power will work just good.5 stars all day.
