It might be due to the carpet in the room but it does have a bit of a wobble when built up. Havnt tried it on another flooring type to say for definite so thats something to think about if used around small children, especially since there wasn't anything to tie it to a wall for security. Easy to assemble and instructions not needed but included. It's a nice height and can hold alot which helps with the sturdiness but when building it up I noticed one shelf had some paint chipped slightly (2nd photo, lighting is terrible but the pink chipped off to show white underneath) and another shelf had a chip in one corner and a small defect in the pink layer on the other corner (3rd and 4th pic). That shelf was put on the top and faced the wall so not too noticeable but not what you expect for the price paid. Wouldn't say its value for money because of the defects which alot of comments mention and not worth the price overall but is a nice addition to the room.

Very easy to put together. Lightweight and would have been perfect except my space was 60cm wide so the extra 0.7cm meant it didn't work. However, re-used inside a wardrobe for shelving for bedding which worked ok.

Needed something high to use as a shoe rack to deter a puppy who loves chewing up shoes. This was ideal for me as fitted nicely into hall space. Put it together myself in minutes with no problems

I can't really fault these shelves. For the price they're fairly solid, we're easy to assemble and do exactly what I want them to.Granted if something knocks into them they're likely to go down, but they're otherwise stable and frankly the only way I can see getting them to fall over is either intentionally or hitting them fairly hard.

easy to put together, a bit janky but not flimsy, doesn't come apart when you move it. my cat approves.

You wouldn't say it's all plastic and half of the shelf looks more like cardboard than wood.Assembly has been as easy as playing LEGO and so similar to it, to be honest.If I had known the structure was not metal, regardless of the nice result, I'm not sure I would have paid as much as I did for it.It's worth the decor, but not the materials.I keep it 'cause it perfectly matches my oak and metal desk... if you don't focus on details.
