I was looking for guest bed pillows that strike a balance between rock solid and paper thin. These pillows are not too firm or soft and priced fairly! They don't flatten too much either and are quite comfortable. I bought another 2 pack at a different retailer that had a terrible smell which took time to air out. These came out of the package without any offputting smell at all.

These pillows are excellent. We bought 2 and loved them so much that a few months later we bought 2 more. Now a year later I’m buying 4 for our guest room. Excellent quality and very comfortable (even for my husband who is very picky).

I'm rating this 4 stars for now because I've only slept on the pillow once...but I suspect it will soon change to 5 stars. I ordered this after trying one of the better rated shredded foam pillows..what a HUGE disappointment- hard, heavy, uncomfortable. Ordered this (comes as a 2 pack, so great deal!), opened it and let it 'fluff'- which took less than an hour, and had no discernible 'new pillow odor.' I was a bit worried it might be too poofy, but ahhh...when I put my head on it, it sank a bit yet still cradled my head and was soooo comfortable and supportive. When I woke up, I realized that I hadn't been waking up every couple of hours, like I did with my precious foam pillow, so while I can't prove it, I think this will contribute to overall better sleep. I may even order another pair to store away for the future, since it seems like whenever I find a pillow I really like, it gets discontinued, and this was a reasonable price.

The item arrived a day late, which proved to be no problem. Fern & Willow pillows are among the best in my opinion. However, this is the second order of Fern & Willow pillows I've received from Amazon that has arrived in a box that has been previously opened and then taped up. I'm not sure what is going on with these items but I confess that it gives me pause upon receipt of the order. The pillows themselves have not been tampered with, but the packaging is less than "fresh". Not cool.

These pillows are another product that I first saw in one of those articles about "products that people rave about." I will start by saying that my husband loves the one I gave him, after I removed enough of the filling to pack a one-gallon zip lock baggie. He would give the pillows 5 stars, but he's not doing the rating - I am.First, there are two pillows to the box. This is good. What's not good is that the two instructional papers were nowhere near the top of the box, or even between the two pillows. The manufacturer should not assume that everyone who buys these pillows (I don't think you can buy just one - if you can, it's a different product page that I didn't see) is going to use both pillows right away. My intention was to only use one of the pillows - for myself - as I didn't think my husband had any issue with the pillow he was using. So, I removed the first pillow from the box and then had to go back to the product page on Amazon and look at the photos that folks had posted with their reviews, in order to see what the instructions were. It wasn't until a couple days later when my husband asked if he could have a new pillow, too, that I took the second pillow out of the box and found the instructions on the bottom of the box. They lost a star for that.The description and manufacturer info on these pillows mentions the "cooling gel." It's even in the title of the product. I don't know where they are hiding the cooling gel because there certainly isn't any in my pillow. I think the pillow is too warm. They lost a star for that.I had to remove enough of the filling from my pillow to totally stuff *two* one-gallon zip lock baggies. I guess I can use it (along with the one gallon of stuffing I removed from my husband's pillow) to make a throw pillow or two. But after removing the stuffing from my pillow, I had one heck of a time getting the zipper closed again. I was ready to bet money that the zipper would totally break. Thankfully, it didn't, but it was a royal pain to deal with.Bottom line is that the pillow is "ok," but it's nowhere near as good as I thought it was going to be.

I have been buying these pillows for years. High quality filling and easily adjustable for me as a side and stomach sleeper. High quality covering.
