New Favorite Tea!
First saw a reference to this tea in a New Zealand mystery and decided to try it. Great choice! Nice, strong tea, dark color. Bought the loose tea instead of the tea bags and this worked well for me. Highly recommend for the flavor and price!

Amazing if...
Read the reviews and look at the pictures. This is not loose leaf tea. It is finely ground tea. It is amazing and delicious and I really enjoy it (even though I have more expensive and fancier teas and yadda, yadda, blah, blah...)I started out unhappy with this, tried to make a cup with a strainer and it was not what I was looking for but I could not deny that even as over-strong as I made it it was smoooth and good. Really good.My best results come from pouring a tea spoon into a small pot and letting it steep for a bit - I then our off the top and use a strainer. It is magnificent. I have also used the kind of tea bags I fill myself and they were OK but I should have weighed the tea. (It is in the instructions, I think 2 grams.I use a little tea submarine in cold water for iced tea and it is now my favorite tea for that. It is so smooth I nearly got high last time I drank it, I drank so much. The fact is, if you are on here looking for new tea to try this is one you may want to pick up. It may not impress the fancy tea fanciers and it is a very good cup of tea.Caveat emptor: you may drink more than you planned.

Finely powdered dust — loose leaf tea.
This is basically the dust left after the teabags have been filled. It is dust. So fine that it can’t be easily filtered and you and up with slightly muddy tea. This likely not meant for “export” since the company does not offer this for sale on their site.Don’t fall for the “loose leaf” terminology—it is technically true but so is dust.

It’s OK, it’s Tea Dust NOT Loose Leaf
I heard from a Sri Lanka acquaintance once that Dilmah is a great Ceylon tea brand. So I tried this one. First, it’s tea dust, feels kinda like ground coffee. It’s very thin and is difficult to strain/filter. It is NOT loose tea leaf. Second, it’s super strong. If you traditionally use one teaspoon of black loose leaf tea per cup, you need 1/2 or 1/3 of a teaspoon of this tea dust. Otherwise the tea would be super strong and even bitter. Regarding flavor, I grew up drinking Ceylon tea so I’m very familiar with the flavor profiles. This one is good, but not super excellent as I thought it would be. Not sure I’d buy again.

Awesome Authentic Sri Lankan Tea!
This Dilmah Tea brought over from the Tea States in Sri Lanka is the real deal. Want to half milk tea like you did when you went to Sri Lanka? This is the tea to buy. Or any other kind of Tea, this one is very delicious! My wife and I bought one bag, and within a week decided to buy another because we had it almost gone already!!!

Super good cheap tea
I should point out that if you're interested in a delicate, floral cup, this tea will not be for you. I like to use this to you for my first cup in the morning, and to make it really strong. I drink it with half and half, and sometimes sugar.Whenever we visit the family in Sri Lanka, we would make a point of grabbing a couple of bags of this. I don't even think it's necessarily the best in its category, it's just widely available and really does the job. it's really nice to be able to get it online here, though in some sense I'd really rather fly to Sri Lanka.

Not what I expected
I was expecting regular loose leaf tea. This is tea powder, like in tea bags. :(
