That it works as stated
Absolutely delighted I ordered this. Have used it a few times on different cars and it works a treat. Great Quality and arrived very quickly. Well worth the price for its capabilities.

Great bit of kit
It arrived less than 24 hours from ordering, out the box you have 4 or 5 questions to answer (part of the setup), once connected to your Wi-fi it promptly went off and updated all the firmware and software on its own. Once completed I went outside and connected to my wife’s car, it was simple enough to connect it then was just as simple to scan the car. The unit then supplied the fault code and description of the fault, for me it was the front left abs sensor. So I’ve just ordered it ready to fit at the weekend. All in all very easy to use with clear instructions and use. Can’t really fault it to be honest. Ah I can actually I didn’t find the charging lead until after I had charged it in the car via the odb port. The charging lead was hidden with the manual (that I haven’t needed to read yelp) in the bag that you store the reader in.

Car died! Now I know why!
It read and cleared the faults on my car which enabled me to drive it to the garage, to get it fixed. However the fault made it not economically worthwhile. 😭But it's a nice bit of kit, maybe overkill for what I needed, but I liked that it updates it's software. And it even emailed me the report. If you repair cars, you need something like this, I'd say it's worth the price, it's nice portable size.

semi-pro car code reader for home mechanics and even proffessional mechanics
I own a OBD USB interface cable which requires a computer and software - this works but the free software is difficult to find and not very reliable or feature rich. The all in one cheaper code readers only read your main ECU codes (i.e. they won't read things like ABS and transmission codes etc. So I decided to spend a bit more and a better all in one unit, and having used this for some time now, I'm so glad I did. This won't be for everyone as it is a lot more expensive than a simple code reader, but it does provide a lot more. It's an android based, touch screen unit. In general use, you plug it into the car, and it will then probably auto recognise your vehicle then auto scan it and generate a report for you. The unit stores a history of reports, so no need to try remembering what the previous code where if you fixed something then cleared them all down. As it's android based, you can connect it to Wifi (I use home wifi and sometime my phone as a hotspot), which allows to enter an email address which emails a link to a cloud hosted report - professional enough for sending to customers for trade mechanics. You can click a code on the unit to trigger an internet search for more details, but the unit does have pre-loaded description of most codes (i.e. for any codes found, you get the code and a brief description). It's super simple to use, you don't need to study the user guide as the android mobile phone like interface is very intuititve. The only minor negative is that scanning all the different systems takes a couple of minutes so isn't super fast. As a home mechanic, I'm not sure if that's just because the OBDII system takes this long to work through scanning all the different areas, or this unit itself is a little slow. However it's definitly not painfully slow. At a guess, I suspect the time required is because this unit is able to scan all the subsystems of the car where the cheaper units only scan the main ECU codes.

Very impressive
Had a problem with what I thought was a wheel sensor on a 2013 Honda Civic . Standard OBD reader failed, but this identified the problem and then let me clear the fault .I appears to genuinely be able to provide a depth of analysis and fault clearing you would expect from a manufacturer specific bit of kit .Realistically it's not going to be comparable to a professional garage analyser costing thousands, but itsstill pretty impressive. You download the latest software for a mass of manufactures for free over WiFi. For the price you are unlikely to be disappointed.

Easy to use, works great
The media could not be loaded. Bought this to replace a scanner that I had that connected to my phone, wanting a stand alone unit that would work without an internet connection. Apart from doing the updates over the internet it will work anywhere which makes it even more useful when working where the mobile signal isn’t very good. So far it’s done everything I’ve needed it to do and without a subscription makes it very good value for money
