Need a pro to aim.
It works like a charm. Easy to assemble, though there were no instructions (not needed). I put it together, put it up, and called the local Dish installer to aim it. I have two homes, and carry the box back and forth. If you call Dish, just ask for the local installer for your ZIP Code. The phone help desk is clueless about issues like this. It takes a special device to aim the antenna properly. It cost me $125 to get it aimed (Aug, 2023) and was well worth the money. Up and running the day after delivery

... original dish back on and the original dish works perfect. Called the company for support and the company ...
did not work when installed correctly so we put the original dish back on and the original dish works perfect. Called the company for support and the company that sold it screw around with me sending me to 4 different people within the company and never could help at all. Unit now sitting in garage might use it for a bird bath I think it would work better then what they say it is used for.

As long as my tri-pod is set with a level to be perfect vertical everything works great
I paid $350.00 for a Dish King Tailgater that could not find a signal out in the middle of a field and when it did after working 2 hours with it the signal was extremely weak and the next day no signal at all and I would have to start all over again, I did this on a 45 day trip every stop we made. So I bought this dish and mounted it on a tri-pod setting the skew and elevation permeate for the south US so all I have to mess with when setting up is azimuth. As long as my tri-pod is set with a level to be perfect vertical everything works great, it takes me just a minute or two to find the signal and instead of a signal strength of 30 with the tailgater I usually get around 70. This dish will pick up all three signals for 110, 119 and 129 but you got to set 119 first then you should have the other two. Once you learn how to do it. it will be a breeze to set up. It is heavy for a tri-pod and any breeze will blow it over, I fixed this by using a doggie screw centered under the tri-pod and bungeed it down tight, works great. I also gave up on the omnitrack system I had on the roof of my RV as any tree limb would interfere with it and would not work unless I moved the RV out of the trees and as you know some sites have a lot of trees so I could never get a signal. So I have found this dish the best possible dish on the market for my purpose. A definite 5 stars.

This is a great dish and very easy to install.
This is a great dish and very easy to install. Came a little scratched up as other people have mentioned. Just cosmetic so not a big deal.Just a tip on how to make the installation easier. Put a sock over each of the outside two LNBs until you dial in 119 on the center LNB. This will block the other two LNBs from seeing 119 accidently. Otherwise you could mistakenly point the dish in the wrong direction if one of the outer two LNBs sees 119. This happened to me on the first attempt and I could only pick up 119 and 129. It occurred to me that the center LNB was not the one seeing 119. You can use anything to block the two outer LNBs, but a pair of socks makes it really easy. Then remove the socks after 119 is dialed in at its strongest and 110 and 129 should be in the right positions.

Works flawlessly, but view You Tube installation.
The Package arrived in good shape. No damage. The instructions were not include, but were sent to me by email right away. At first, I had a problem with alignment of the dish and actually erroneously concluded that my LNB was defective. After some consultation, I was told that LNBs are rarely defective unless damaged. Then, after watching a video on installation of the Dish 1000.2 on an excellent You Tube video, I discovered the problem. I was using adjusting bolt and nut as my mark to align the dish instead of the metal tang. This information is NOT made clear in the instructions from Dish at all. Once I discovered my mistake, realigned the Dish using the inexpensive Digital inline Peaking meter put it right on. It works great! I had never installed one of these small dish types before. Great signal strength and now I get all my channels. I am hooked up to a VIP 211 receiver. I had thought about returning the Dish and the seller was very accommodating, but after I discovered the problem, all is well.

Buyer Beware
I purchased this satellite dish. I had it hooked up and then was working for a few hours. With a DP switch and the latest wally. Then suddenly died. I contacted the vendor but never got a response to the action of the sudden disappearance of satellite signal. Thought maybe the LNB may have died. I also in a separate email set them on "how to hook up to wally" as maybe I did something wrong - all I got was a this system is for a hopper. So I requested a return with such a canned tort answer. Many reviews say it will work.. and it did.... so I put on an older dish I had - and the system worked. Guess it was not my aiming! Only problem with returning is it the 15% restocking fee, then add on more the 1/2 of the total cost of dish to return via UPS, which I get to pay for. Not worth it for 20 bucks left over and my time. I felt I got ripped off. Stuck with a dish that probably the LNB is dead and can't send back. And can't sell on craigslist as the LNB is probably dead and I would not do that another person.

It works well once you get it set up. ...
It works well once you get it set up. But as some of the online guides warn, it a challenge if you never setup and aligned a 3 channel sat antenna before! My 4 star rating is not because of issues with this particular piece of hardware, but because of the difficulty in setting it up.
