Great mineral sunscreen
Great mineral sunscreen, rubs in well, protects well during high UV times, doesn't sweat off, not strong smell. Used this for fist time on a 95% high humidifier day while walking around Pittsburgh between 11am-3pm. No burning at all. There is a film left but that's for almost all sunscreen, so not any difference with this one. Easy to rub in and may leave a slight white coat but not as noticeable as some other mineral products. I will buy this again and recommend.

Zinc Oxide Sunscreen is the best choice!
I’m happy I decided on Coppertone Pure & Simple Zinc Oxide Sunscreen. The 6 ounce bottle is well worth the price as a little goes a long way. I always give the bottle a good shake before applying it. This was the first year I sought out all zinc oxide sunscreens. I wanted to avoid the bad ingredients in regular sunscreens I’ve used in the past. This is free of octinoxate & oxybenzone which are the 2 main bad ingredients in most sunscreens. This pure & simple sunscreen is free of PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid) which is an ingredient you should avoid in the interest of protecting your overall well-being. It’s also parabens, dye & fragrance free. I like the 50 SPF. I did some research on what it’s a good SPF to look for. This is what I learned: “SPF50 will last 2 hours in the sun. It should protect you 50 times as long as your skin would be able to naturally protect itself. However, remember that the lower the SPF and longer the length of time since application, the less UVB rays will be filtered so a reapplication every two hours is highly recommended.” Another great feature this sunscreen has is the active ingredient of zinc oxide is at 24.08%. I didn’t know what that meant so again I researched it. This is what I learned: “It’s recommended looking for a sunscreen label for a zinc oxide concentration of 20-25% for best protection from UVA and UVB rays.” So thumbs up on everything this Coppertone Pure & Simple sunscreen offers. Be careful as it comes out a little watery quickly but it rubs nicely onto my skin & is absorbed immediately. There’s no residue or white cast look to it period. Yesterday I worked outside for 5 hours. I took a couple breaks & did reapply after 2 hours. I didn’t burn period. This sunscreen kept my skin safe. I also decided to apply it to my face because I had it handy with me outside & my face sunscreen was in the house. This was lightweight on my face & didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I feel it could easily be used as a facial sunscreen. So many positives I’ve found with this sunscreen! I most definitely recommend it!

It works
It works, no harmful ingredients like Oxybenzone and octinoxate in it. Threw away my old 5 yr old sunscreen it had these bad chemicals in it.

Great daily sunscreen
After testing a bunch of sunscreens for daily use, I've landed on this one. It makes my skin feel great and works fantastic even in strong direct sunlight. Goes on pretty visibly but absorbs into the skin after a while, becoming invisible.

This stuff WORKS.
I am pale, I have rosacea, and I live in the south. That is a terrible combination. But this sunscreen has saved my butt (well, actually it’s saved my face). It doesn’t sting at, and when I accidentally got it into my mouth it didn’t leave a weird aftertaste (I smear it over my lips). This is my first mineral sunscreen, so I can only compare it to chemical sunscreens. But so far I think it lasts longer (and holds up to sweat better) than any other sunscreen I’ve used. It even survived a day at the water park with minimal reapplication. Now I will be honest, it leaves a white cast. But I don’t even bother trying to rub it all the way in. I just go out looking like Casper the Friendly Ghost.(Also it scored well on consumer reports, but the baby version scored even better, so I think I’ll try that next)

Wanted to love it, but my skin didn't
I wanted to like this so much and overall I loved the texture and sun protection efficiency. However this gave me a rash in arms and legs (didn't use it on my face) and it's been so itchy. I almost never get rashes or anything, don't consider my skin sensitive but IDK, must be some of the ingredients combinations. If you trust your skin and like thick textures, go for this!

Great for skin that burns easily
As someone who burns just thinking about the sun, I have tried a ton of sunscreens. I love the outdoors but always dread the burns, both dealing with them and knowing I'm more at risk for skin cancer the more I burn. It never mattered how often I reapplied, I always burned. After doing some research, I decided to try a mineral sunscreen. Trying to find one that's affordable and doesn't leave a thick, white cast can be hard, but I've found this and its spray version to be really effective. You still can get a white cast, but it goes away once it's rubbed in properly. Now I can be outside and not have to worry as long as I follow the instructions and reapply when needed!
