Edited 6/26/21. Less than 2 years later, dead. Worked perfectly til today. Planned obsolescence. Bought for quality and longevity. Didn't get longevity, but wasn't expensive. Also, wasn't really Japanese. Yes, made in PRC. Contrast. I have a 22 year old Krups Espresso / coffee machine working perfectly like day one. 3 stars because was cheap price.

It's very stylish , but stopped work after 1 month - it's just cold. Also it's from China, not Japan.
