Velux blackout blinds are they any good? Also telescopic pole rod to operate window & blind?

No idea about the blackout blinds. Other velux blinds are excellent. Telescopic pole rod is just fine.

Will this pole work with gpl m08 version? it also has a handle at the bottom which needs to be rotated by 90 deg

Unfortunately this pole is not compatible with GPL windows. Please contact Velux directly for a solution.

I have a large velux window- roughly 1 metre by 1 metre.. Will this be strong enough to open it?

Our velux windows are 1 meter by 500 cms and the poll opens them easily. I therefore assume it would work well on a 1m x 1m window
