Z0Z 085 Adapter for Telescopic Rod Pole to Control Out of Reach Roof Window Blinds

Great product, neat appearance and easy to install. Unnecessary to send each item in a separate box - a padded envelope or one small box for all four would suffice !

At first I thought that the adapter was broken as it looked cracked at the back. However, the company got in touch to say that this was normal as it allows the device to expand to fill the gap when it is screwed. It was easy to install and I can now open and close my blinds much more easily. Great customer service - thanks.

Easy to install. Works very nicely with the Velux own-brand window-opening tool; easy to use to slide a blind up and down out of reach. Lost one star for silly packaging. I ordered two of these. Each one arrived in its own box. Each box was inside its own big envelope. Seriously? Two identical parcels, way bigger than they needed to be for dinky little handles. Lack of joined up thinking there.

The tiny instruction leaflet from Velux says it all. If fitted correctly the pole can pull the blind shut (ie down in the diagram) perfectly ok - but to open it ? Eventually you learn to push it up by reversing the pole and pushing the end bar of the blind itself but if you try to swing the pole on the attachment (in the anticlockwise direction in the diagram) the thing jams. Surely an award winner for a rotten design, or at the very least rotten instructions. That said, once you get used to it, it works. Also, the seller uses Parcelforce for delivery. Don't rely on estimated delivery dates with them. Amazon estimated a delivery on a Saturday. In fact it arrived the previous Tuesday. And Parcelforce was looking for a signature. Not good for planning. Had to go to the local Post Office to pick it up. Three stars because it is useable.

Given that most velux windows are in inaccessible places i.e. high in roofs this add on just fails to cut it. It works reasonably with your hands BUT but most velux windows are high and not accessible to human hands. Hence it's supposed to work with the velux telescopic hook... It doesn't, the hook does not catch on this device and repeatedly slips off when trying to pull the velux blind down. As to closing the blind i.e pushing it back up just forget it! Just forget this device and push under the blind bar. On the very wide, large velux this "attachment" is a potential disaster resulting in a lot of bowing in the aluminium bottom frame, that before the hook falls off. £10.00 for a poorly designed, ill documented bit of plastic. Oh it works perfectly if your velux window and blind is no more than 6 feet of the ground

This really does work. For out of reach windows which you need to use the extendable pole for, this 'thing' allows you to grip on to push and pull the blind. Attaching it, like all velux fittings, is simple and just works as it's meant to. As with all things velux it has a price tag, but in our case it was cheaper than replacing the wooden frame which was slowly being trashed by hitting it with the pole each time we tried to close the blind.

Good idea in theory. But it relies entirely on a tight fit by closing a nut that opens two wedge-shaped pieces behind the adaptor into the aluminium end of the blind. This bolt has to be accessed from the side once the adaptor is pushed in place. The bolt is made of cheap soft steel despite the fact that it has to be tightened under pressure. Of course it inevitably burrs and the top of the bolt quickly resembles a shallow pit. Shame for a company like Velux to put their name to a product containing a vital component of such shoddy construction.

Super Clip, um die Jalousie für ein VELUX Fenster zu schließen. Selbst mit einer Stange, um oben anzukommen, lässt sich die Jalousie mit diesem clip bewegen - auch wenn man behutsam sein muss. Super Sache, um die Jalousie und die Finger zu schonen.

Excellent produit, simple, efficace, un peu cher.
