Great solution for securing sliding closet doors
Perfect solution for our sliding closet doors. One of our dogs learned how to open the doors. I thought about a bar to put in the bottom track but the dog would have still been able to slide one door. With these door locks both doors cannot slide unless you disengage the lock by laying it flat. I like that these locks are clear so they are less noticeable. The adhesive seems to be holding strong after a month of use. Overall, I thought this was a great purchase and solution for our problem.

Peace of mind for young children
We bought these gor our sliding glass doors. One of our children occasionally sleep walks- and I hated to think of what would happen if they went outside (especially in the winter!) so we purchased these. I like that these burglar bars give me an extra peace of mind on top of our security.It was do easy to install. Just clean the surface , apply, and wait a few days before it’s completely secure. It’s so convenient in the daytime for me to flip before we go outside while also ensuring our kids don’t go outside without my knowledge.Would they stand strong against a full grown man? I’m not sure, but that’s not what we purchased them for. We’re very happy with them!I wish we bought these sooner!

Seems sturdy. Read directions before installing.
It's important to read instructions regarding placing the lock flat on the door before taking the adhesive tape off. The door should open smoothly without touching the lock. Important to check. It would not open smoothly on my door. Returned item.

Didn’t work for me
I got these for a sliding door in my camper. They do seem to work, but they don’t lay flat enough to open the door without difficulty.
