That’s the sound of freedom!I just got this GOOTOP bug zapper and it is straight-up snapping necks and cashing checks. 🪰💀🎥 If you watch the video, TURN UP YOUR VOLUME. The SNAP CRACKLE POPof a blood-sucking enemy is pure backyard justice. It’s like a tiny lightning storm of vengeance every few seconds.I wouldn’t say it covers a full ½ acre (unless you live on a postage stamp), but it’s doing a solid job covering my patio and pool deck. I used to get bit three times just walking outside — now I can sit a few feet away from this thing and not feel like an all-you-can-eat buffet.👍 What I like:• Works straight out of the box — plug and zap.• Lightweight, hangs anywhere (as long as you have an extension cord — the cord is criminally short).• No chemicals, no gross smells, and no pet drama from pesticide-killed bugs.• Satisfying clean-up tray with a little brush (a little gross, a little rewarding).• Plastic housing may look cheap, but at least it won’t rust out in Florida humidity.• The sound. Omg, the sound. Music to my itchy ears. Oh so satisfying.👎 A few things to note:• It’s not super bright like my last zapper — we’ll see if that matters long-term.• You’ll still want repellent on hand — bugs will still fly around you, but not like before. They’re way less interested in me now. (Bug karma??)• Cord is short AF. Like… did they think I was going to hang it from my ankle?Bottom line: It may not be fancy, but it works, it zaps, and it brings me joy. Just hang it, plug it in, and wait for the fireworks.

This bug zapper works great! It’s powerful and covers a large area, zapping mosquitoes and flies within seconds. The 4200V electric grid is no joke—it gets the job done quickly. I use it both indoors and outdoors, and the 3-prong plug makes setup easy and stable. The ABS plastic outer shell feels sturdy and safe, even around pets. Must have!!!

We bought two, and they're keeping our pool patio area nearly mosquito free! I'm using the included brush to clean off the metal zapper shell every couple days right now, but we're on the edge of the woods and it is a busy mosquito summer here. Before installing these we weren't able to go out on the patio or in the pool after the sun started to set. Last night we relaxed out by the pool as a family until after 10pm for the first time this summer. Wish we'd have found these sooner! Thanks for a great product at a very fair price.

Item worked as described. Took it camping this past week and while we weren’t in a very buggy area it did help to control them more. Out of the box item was new and easy to set up. We had a power cord that we plugged into instead of the camper so it was a direct line. Light isn’t annoying and the zapper worked. Tray is easy to remove and clean. I will say that many still end up on the zapper portion which is the reason for the 4 starts. They get stuck on which requires cleaning. Follow instructions prior to use and cleaning should.

We have little fruit flies every summer. This summer I decided enough is enough and started using three of these throughout the house. They are amazing!The first time that I used one was after a party where people were going in and out of my sliding door. After the party we had over a hundred little bugs on our ceiling near the recessed lights. I plugged this in and turned off the other lights. It sounded like popcorn popping within a minute. The next morning we had zero insects in the room!My only negative is that several times I've been close to asleep and a bug meets it's demise and it scares me. Its amazing how loud the bug explosion is!

We have tried a number of different bug zappers, and this one not only works well, but it is sturdy. We also like the fact that it plugs into an outlet rather that a USB brick. It is also very easy to unscrew the bottom plate and empty the bugs...no need to mess with a little brush!

This product works very well in our backyard. As you can see from the photo, I hung it on an outside wall using another product from Amazon, RTZEN Plant Hangers. I used one of the hanging loops to attach the Gootop Bug Zapper and inverted and mounted the other RTZEN hanger to accommodate two bungee cords (Horusdy 31 Piece) attached underneath the Bug Zapper to keep it from slamming into the wall from the high winds we sometimes have. Also, I purchased the Amazon Basics Outdoor Smart Plug and programmed a routine that turns on the plug with the zapper 1 hour before sunset and turns it off at 1:00 am. The zapper works great and we have not had the bugs and mosquitoes we typically have from living adjacent to a greenbelt. I recommend all three of these Amazon products!
