Are these sloped? One end sits higher ?

Yes the paint goes in the well part and it slopes up where you roll excess paint off the higher end has little clip on the feet for hanging on a ladder. It’s the same as a metal pan but costs less most people throw them away when they are done painting

It would be nice to know what roller width this tray was made for.

A reg sized roller for painting rooms. I don’t have a tape measure on me and I am not at Home Depot but any fluffiness will work
