Yes , but after a few hours it powers off if not in use and you have to press the power button on the unit to wake it up

Does this has more bass than the Anker Soundcore boom?

1000% more bass. We bought this speaker for a Wedding - 25 people - Room size 12' x 30' and it filled that space perfectly. The Bass is really really good. I've got a Anker Soundcore boom as well - you can't compare these speakers. The W-King is next level up from something like the Anker. It's much bigger and a proper sounding "gig" speaker.

Does this speaker play music from a usb flash drive? and if so what is the usb port speed? 2.0? 3.0? 3.1?

I just simply shoved my 64GB mini SD card in there and I had to quickly tone down the music so my neighbour wouldn't get wound up. It even reads your folders. Only down side is: there's no way of selecting what to play; you have to keep skipping to find what you want -- if like me, you've got your SD card loaded with mp3 files! The manual is pretty poor--so I don't know the highest capacity mini SD it would take, but definitely, 64GB mini SD went well. The USB feels like useless; didn't respond.
